It was filmed in Hayfield - Edale - Glossop - C-e-l-f amongst other local places. I started watching it about two shows ago, thought it was pretty good. The main actress is brilliant, dont remember her name though.

Maxine peake, shes top class been in shameless, red riding, and various other dramas

Can someone explain Game of Thrones for me is it a bit Lord of the Rings ????

No hobbits in this mate and definately more gritty and violent.........not to mention some rather attractive ladies getting their kit off every now and then!

Red Riding was funking quality.
The greatest miscarriage of justice since my case against the producers of the Never Ending Story

Completely agree. I love quite a few of the big U.S. dramas but I think this proved we can produce top quality TV as well - albeit on a smaller scale. Plus, a tenuous Spireite link - based on the David Peace books, who wrote The Damned United with part of the film adaptation filmed at Saltergate. I told you it was tenuous.

Glad Natalie won Masterchef earlier on.

Down to earth lass, and her food looked nice.

I would have rioted if she hadn't won, she was by far the best over the last 2 weeks

Enjoyed the recent series of master chef, although some of those Michelin starred chefs are right up their own harrises and some of the dishes they create are surely just to,outdo each other than create culinary classics.
Really glad Natalie won, she was the stand out winner from quite early on, Dale and Larkin where out of their depth in the final , and shouldn't have been anywhere near it after their semi final disasters. It always seems to me that people can have good consistent rounds but if someone does ok in the final test for Greg and John they get through regardless of previous disasters.

I hope it's different to "the following".. Started with the first couple of episodes having you thinking " B****Y hell woww", next couple of episodes got you thinking "yes this is getting there".. Deleted it after that , awash with boredom and still no idea how I ended.

Enjoying Walking Dead at the minute. The Barn scene was excellent, if you've seen it you'll know what I'm on about.

Tbh I don't really want to find out, might try and pick it up again further down the line, but surely there's only so many ways you put an Edgar Allen Poe twist on each episode

last 10mins of the latest episode were fine (but obvious), but its been a long tedious trek to get there.
not be counting the days down to series4.
