'Guesstimates of things that haven't and might never happen'?

From the bloke who won't vote Labour 'cos he thinks some hard left takeover could, possibly, just maybe happen at some unspecified point in the future. Despite our friend 'Turrhall' saying similar because of a supposed right wing takeover.

For what it's worth the suggestions of why Sunak's called an early election in my initial response were from seasoned commentators in the mainstream media.

However it speaks volumes that your opening and subsequent posts focus almost entirely on taunting Labour whilst barely even mentioning the tories' record.

But hey, at least you didn't go ga-ga over Angie Raynor and things that 'haven't and might never happen' in terms of her former home again...

And there you go again, putting words in my mouth that I have never said. I have said have never, and probably never will, vote Tory. I've said I voted LD last time as I preferred their manifesto and I worry that the Unions and the left will spoil Labour plans. I have never said I wont vote Labour.

Of course I am taunting Labour, where would the sport be in taunting the Tories on here.

As for Rayner, has she been found innocent yet? Declared her tax advice? But you assume she is innocent when you would assume a Tory was guilty. I could never bow to the alter of the rosette and subvert my thoughts and opinions to theirs, but good for you...

(I did mention gold plated pensions though - thought you'd comment on that! Another perk to the public sector, they can wait to see who wins and then f off to live elsewhere if they dont like who wins or the new roles, knowing their pension is secure!)

At least there's streaming now to avoid it all..

I disagree because I think the more Starmer and his shadow cabinet are put under actual election pressure, and having to focus on what they?ll deliver, rather than sniping from the sidelines the more the gaps in what they actually stand for will be exposed.

6 weeks till folk can stop whingeing about the current government who are so rotten but have been in power for the past 14 year, before anyone says it im no big fan but if they are so bad why have they been in power so long. One thing guaranteed is that train strikes will magically end once labour are in power as the union bosses will talk to them as they are the party for the working man aint they

we had a debate at work the other day about the election... funnily enough there werent many Labour supporters (south east, average salary of the group debating well into 6 figures!), but also very few Tory fans. One lives in Brighton, a couple in the Western Home Counties, a couple in the Northern Home Counties, and one each for London, Kent and the West Midlands...

Its going to be a long 6 weeks. But i'm looking forward to the debates, as a KC, Starmer should be in his element if they have any policies to defend...although my guess is he is a much better prosecutor than implementor..

Well you can but not with any credibility - but you gave up on that long ago.

Politics is opinions, there are no facts as to which party is "best" - best for who to start with, as what works for someone on benefits or minimum wage is probably not the same for a multi millionaire...

So as said, to say someone is stupid for voting for a party you dont support is a bit like saying they are stupid for being different / having different goals to you... except if they voted for Johnson, that was stupid. We all knew how that would end...

;)

Genuine question for Labour voters on here. Given the huge poll lead, one that has remained pretty stable around the 20 pt mark fir months, and the fact the general consensus amongst you all is that this government has been a disaster, would you view a hung parliament, like some are forecasting after the local elections, as a poor, even bad night?

As I've said a lot already, I won't be voting labour this time, but have done exclusively in the past - they will win by a landslide, anything less will be an embarrassment.

Local Elections weren't great but people feel more comfortable voting 3rd party, or not turning up, in the locals, which likely explains it.

Both main parties sit in centre ground - not much difference in economic policy - probably going to be a change in Government but outside of platitudes and sound bites, not much can or will change. The problem with the blue half is lack of leadership, problem with the red half is the enemy within. Choose your poison.

If you?re referring to me - pitiful arousal is a great line.

How is any post on a forum trolling? Surely everyone in that case is trolling?
Who doesn?t? Who contributes the best on here? You? Walton? Fishini? Warfey?
Surely we all are just spouting random opinions.
