Altrincham Id like to see up, but won’t begrudge Aldershot or Barnet coming up either as both have been decent fans and opponents this year.

Oldham, Solihull and Bromley need to spend more seasons in this league.

I would like to see Barnet win it. Just think that Dean Brennan has done a fantastic job there (even though he does remind me of JR a bit) but non the less they look like they're going to be the team to beat.
Basically as long as it's not Oldham or Solihull.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Imo the least equipped team in both resources and playing staff to be able to compete in the 2nd division

so that means we might have one less team to really compete with us next season

AND ALSO AS LONG AS ITS NOT OLDHAM LOL

With the family connections the heart says Barnet BUT if the best team I’ve seen against should get it then its Altrincham, they were miles above anything we played at at home.
They played some very decent football, attacked us from the off.
If they don’t get up this season I hope they win the league outright next season.

In no particular order...

Altrincham, good day out and reasonably local
Halifax, as long as they sort out their pitch and keep that away end open
Barnet, easy access for a London club

All clubs that play a decent brand of footy

Alty, Barnet or Gateshead. I'd be really miffed if the oldham fans p.....d up antics at ours allowed them to sneak into the play offs by 1 point they shouldn't have got.

Gateshead, because I live in the North East, but other than that it doesn't matter. There are some brave wee clubs who seem to punch above their weight year after year, and also some of our old familiar Third/Fourth division rivals. Nothing against any of them.

Nice to think that next season we'll not notice who's doing what in the 5th tier because that daft "Proud members of the National League" signpost won't be there. It's OK for Dorking, Bromley, Wealdstone etc to be proud to be in the NL, but not Chesterfield, eh?

Oldham need to spend a few seasons in this league before getting out, hopefully into the league below 😂. Altrincham for me, all day long. Tidy football, well run club and not so far to travel either. Outsiders would be Barnet and Gateshead with Oldham not even making the playoffs.

Preferably an ex- EFL club whose fans deserve their football heritage to be restored. This, rather than any of these tin-pot outfits which we had never heard of before we plummeted almost into obscurity. Definitely not plastic/rubber Bromley.

Happy with any team joining us, apart from Oldham. They can stay in the NL forever!

Aldershot for me, easy to get to either by train or road and close to town centre.

Altrincham for me. Historically one of the best Non League sides in the country, twice winning the 5th tier, but failing to garner enough votes to win election to the EFL. Up and downs in more recent years, but always, since we’ve met them in this league, played football the right way, and gave us two very good games this season.
And they sold us Ryan Colclough.

If Halifax go up, they’d have to seriously invest in the infrastructure of the club…starting with the pitch.
I don’t think the EFL would be as forgiving as NL on postponements consistently over the state of the pitch.
However, I don’t think any club playing for the play offs right now would be a serious threat in the EFL next season.
Altrincham have been the best team we’ve played this season…so be nice to see them go up

Well said. Ex-EFL clubs fall into the National League for a reason. Because they are badly run and probably rotten from the top. We were. There are some excellently run clubs in this league. Some EFL clubs could learn a lot.
I drove past Harrogate's ground the other day. Tiny. But they are in League 2 on merit. Fair play to them
