Rumours circling that the Trophy lift will take place this Saturday and not at the last home game of the season.

Heartbroken if this the case as have made plans to be at the last game but can’t make Saturday.

Anyone know if there is truth in this?

In theory we might lose the next two games and that won't be possible

Give it a rest. Do you honestly think the Trophy lift would be planned before they have actually Won it.....

With a conspiracy theory head on, could this be because TNT have the game on and that means they don't have to come back for a nothing game on April 20th?

If there are plans to lift the trophy this weekend a) they are premature and b) it will be the tinpot league organisation wanting to do it on TV. At no point have the club said when it will happen and its quite the opposite that nearly every interview with anyone they've not even said we are promoted as yet but nearly there.

I dont believe the club have ever advertised any tickets as being able to see the trophy being lifted. Also for what its worth i saw one random tweet from someone about it happening but replies told him it wasnt likely to happen.

It would be planned, yes.

I can't see how convention would be broken and it not be at the last game. Saturday would be fine though.

The rumour is it's the club pushing this. No doubt they will try and blame others.

Disgraceful decision if so.

I know the club didn’t say anywhere when the trophy lifting will take place but absolutely disgusting if it’s Saturday. They know why Maidenhead at home sold out so quick.

There's nowt like bashing the club based on a totally unsubstantiated rumour.

If circumstances are appropriate, I also wonder whether B/W will give us a Guard of Honour?

It is a big deal Ted for exiles who have made plans. I’ve a 9 hour round journey to Halifax today, I can’t make Saturday. I will be absolutely gutted if I miss the trophy lift in person.

He could have said no. Not that anyone who was on the Dave Allen board would have a clue what's good for the football club.

Clubs usually do once the opposition has secured a Championship.

“Rumour”…. You lost me at that.

We all know you have a gripe against the club (for some I can’t remember what reason) but move on. Reset, re-centre and be happy.
