They have a fanzone bar at the ground now, the money will go behind the bar there I believe

Gotta love Marc White, no other club does that for a big away following..

No, I like the fella. Think he likes us too from his trips up.

Bar in the ground I assume. Good on him

Great day out, brilliant little town, looking forward too it. Certainly not short of boozers

It’ll be long supped by the time we get there! Shame the early kick off has ruined the day really.

Top Man and a real character but also a gentleman away from the game. Met him personally last time we played there and gonna catch up with him again hopefully on Saturday before the game. Only 36 Tickets left now by the way.

I can’t make it on Saturday now and have an adult and child ticket to sell if anyone needs one - face value.

Confirmed £750 behind the bar tomorrow for us to enjoy on behalf of Marc White and Dorking. Great gesture!

Will be interesting how it pans out. 1000 fans- varying times of arrival, consumption and preferred tipple.

The first couple of hundred people there will perhaps get something if they want and the rest nothing.

Probably why it’s just been announced the True Blue Coach is now leaving at 6.30. Seems a ridiculously early start otherwise

I'm not a lover of plastic pitches, but for once I'm glad Dorking have one. If it was grass there would be some serious doubt the game would be on tomorrow, the amount of rain we have had this week darn sarf.

People who got one in early stay drinking; those who didn’t get one stay and drink ….

Maybe I’m cynical(and it’s better than not being offered anything!) but it’s still shrewd to offer to a big away following

I do like his YouTube though.

We go at 8 from the Barrel so won't be there much before 12 I wouldn't have thought.

8am certainly seems to be cutting it fine, whereas 6.30 seems very early. We will find out tomorrow

175 miles ish, 3 hours depending on traffic, likely 4 plus.

We travelled by car from Chesterfield to Dorking today (Friday), it took almost 4 hours (with a 20 mins stop).
There are 14.5 miles of roadworks on the M1 around Luton - with a 50mph speed limit (it was stop start for a while) + roadworks on the M25. I think it may be tight getting there for ko.

Navigating chatsworth Rd or goyt side could put a marker down
Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Chatty rd is dodgy currently but not at 8am on a Saturday morning!!

Roadworks at Luton are a pain but even Tuesday night on the way down to Barnet it wasn’t that bad bar one stretch of it. Google maps saying 3hrs 2mins setting off now as a clear run similar you’d expect to a Saturday morning. Be longer in a coach obviously but you would think 4 and a half hours is plenty. If you want to avoid Luton you could come off at 15a, across and down to the m4 and onto the m25 there or even across and down the m40…plenty of options that are similar times.
