Dunn could well be a good acquisition.

I agree mate

Always rated him as a player. Not sure what he gots left in the tank at 35 but surely worth a player/coach role.

Yes, and a bit of know-how in the squad. Always struck me as a decent enough pro and a top player in his prime, though that was a long time ago.
These go to eleven.

With his dodgy hamstring he'd fit in well. Think coaching would be his main focus.

Craig Davies one of 13 players released by Bolton. Jermaine Beckford in there as well.

Right, well someone get down the club and tell DA to learn from his mistakes when he left :windup

Seriously though, he wants bums on seats? He scored plenty last season in the league above

Now would be a good time to get Davies back. His star is on the wane a bit so its realistic to think he may have to take a pay cut to get a club. I think he still has plenty to offer at league 1 level. Perhaps he'll still be out of our price range though.

I reckon he'll probably get another championship club.

Clarke? Leon? That would be the least amount of work rate in a forward line ever.

I don't think Leon Clarke's attitude ties in with the work ethic that DS has preached

Should be a test of Saunders' credentials here. Bennett has played for him, Chesterfield are a league higher and have a top ten budget in the higher division. Let's see what happens.

Edit: Plus Bennett wouldnt need to relocate

I was like that when he was with us last time, I thought he was a lazy ass but how much was we yearning for that goal scorer to get on the end of a cross for an easy tap in after ED left? Scored for fun at Coventry and they didn't half miss him when he left.
Here we go again!

Clarke scored plenty for us in a poor league 1 team. Imagine what he could do now when we have a good team. Personally I don't care a jot if he's lazy, he can score goals and that's what we need.
