Only got through the first two chapters on my dog walk this morning and my opinion of him has changed already. You summed up my initial thoughts perfectly.

I'm not well read, but do enjoy certain genres. Wilbur Smith's Ancient Egyptian series is excellent. Lee Child's Reacher, Scott Mariani's Ben Hope series. Anything intertwining historical fact with fiction and lost treasures; Dan Brown, Clive Cussler etc.

Grateful for any recommendations along those lines.

Its been a very interesting listen/read, recomend it to anyone who like me, doesn't really have an allegiance towards any political party.

The Crooked Spire Killings by Alan Hurndall.

NF book about the Chesterfield Serial killer. Who knew!!? Very good book depicting the murders in the 60s but also about the town, its industry and pubs. Even covers Wingerworth where he killed one of his victims.

Chesterfield called “the gay capital of the North”….dont tell some posters on here…..
