Paul Hall's scoring records;

For Pompey: 1 in every 3.52 games
For Rushden: 1 in every 4.08 games
For Tranmere: 1 in every 3.77 games.

I'm only guessing here, but I bet that there's no-one in the current squad with a better scoring rate than that! That sort of rate would add up to 11 or 12 goals next season, which would have been plenty enough to be top scorer last season. By our standards, this guy is a proven, prolific goalscorer!

Lets hope that he can keep it up!

:rolleyes: :D :D

And that ball from the half way line on to Beckett's chest on the edge of the area when we put 4 past Plymouth (?) in the first 20 minutes. Aaahh, great days!

Still, back at the thread...

Going off the thread slightly but still on Hall, I wouldn't be surprised if Roy makes him the new captain. With his experience and position, I like a midfielder as captain, it would be a good choice - in my humble opinion.

But i suppose your only as good as your last season - a great return in goals (never mind assists). But I suppose mass hysteria of a positive nature is not always good!
