Dobs will have been offered an extension to his contract, if he moves on the buying club could make a good enough bid to avoid a tribunal (because of his age under 23 & development fee)…. If he goes it will be undisclosed it will be in the region of £100k with significant sell on., in the region of 20%
However, he could sign an extension 👀

I agree with those who say we have a wealth of good players, but I don't agree with the implied suggestion that we can therefore do without Dobra. He gives us an extra dimension with his brilliant ball control, superb dribbling skills, work rate, and ability to grab a goal. He is an absolute pain in the backside for opposition players, and he often occupies two or three of them which pulls defences apart and creates space for the likes of Grigg and Colclough to exploit. Of course, if enough money was put on the table, he would go, as would any other player, but I hope we keep him for this season and the next one too.

I’d push that to top 25. A good player with potential but we need to remember we are NL. We have had decent league 1 teams which at the moment Dobs wouldn’t get in. With 3 years development who knows

Am I right in thinking that's it for him a kiddy after this month is up, isn't a club only allowed to extend a loan contract a set number of times(two loan extensions?) On a player... ??

Cook said he was going to rely on the youngsters in his BT interview but I had assumed that included some first team squad members. The only ones I can seen now featuring is Boot and possibly Williams for some game time

It’s a risk with any loan player, same as when we take players on loan and they get injured.

Me too, because I think he'll make a decent player in a couple of seasons. We have to invest in youngsters both to supply our own squad and to sell on, so we certainly don't want him turning up back here, still chewing the size eleven boot launched at him from a member of the centre back mafia that seems to dwell in the leagues below.
