There are still potential places to join the two-year BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma with the Trust.
The course based at The Hub at the Proact Stadium includes coaching to develop technical, tactical and physical ability. Over two years it also leads to an Extended Diploma in Sport which is worth the equivalent of three A-Levels.
Students will also represent Chesterfield in the FLT Futsal League where success can mean playing for the Club in national finals or even abroad. The Futsal League is featured on Sky Sports Soccer AM.
The Course starts in September. Students require four A-C GCSEs including English and Maths or a BTEC Level 2. Those who narrowly missed out on the grades will be considered. Contact Michael Noon on 01246 264030 or call into The Hub to talk to him.

BBC feature here
It is indoor 5-a-side played using a smaller less bouncy ball to develop close control and ball-skills.
It is huge in Latin countries.
This is our third season running the course and we have had students go on to England Futsal trials, into semi-pro 11-a-side and on to University.
There are, as yet, a limited number of courts so we play at Leeds. Two years ago we were in the Midlands league playing at Birmingham and one of our squads made the national finals.
