  1. In Topic: Paul Cooks Crunch Moment

The crunch would be when he feels he can't take us any further or... we actually can't go any further

As much as we'd all love to fill the corners in, the cost of that and the risk against regularly filling the stadium is possibly the tipping point

Therefore we become limited to what we can afford in terms of bringing players in to be able to compete

I'd say its upper end of League One, hopefully with a daliance in the Championship?

Didn?t we draw 1-1 with Stoke at home in the late 90s, seem to remember they robbed an undeserved draw in injury time 🤔

There was an away game against them that I recall being on TV where we drew, but it could have been 0-0, though I'm sure Jon Howard scored against them in one of the fixtures when they dropped down to the old League 2

Not necessarily biting (ok I probably am)

But after having lost at Welling we picked up 15 points before the next round would have taken place

    Barnet took 1 point

    Bromley took 2 points

Cook has already admitted elsewhere that had he known the above was going to happen, he might have re thought the side put out at Welling

The side that ultimately won the competition were denied a shot at promotion just a few weeks earlier by the very organisation that administer the Trophy competition, which should tell us everything we need to know about how seriously we should have taken the competition

No longer on sale online now?

Or do we think they've gone off sale online to work out those that haven't renewed and what seats that leaves available?

That’s just made me laugh, Jacobs has played left midfield literally all of his career.

I didn't say he couldn't play there, but he's far from as effective there now he's into the twilight of his career.

I would guess the majority of his assists have come when he's been in a central position
