According to Sky; Folan may feature at the Riverside in the near future; Hull having signed 3 forwards recently. Hull being keen apparently to keep their premiership squad at 25 players; Brown and Southgate both entirely happy with the switch.

Anyone think this move (if it happens) will work out for him?

May do. He's turned into a half decent player but has to be playing at his age. Championship is his level.

That. He has shown he can be a good player at premier league level, but he's still not good enough against many of the teams to get a regular start, plus he's always got some sort of injury problem, keeps ending up down the pecking order at Hull. I think he'll do very well in the championship.

Sounds like Caleb won't be playing against Trevor Carson tomorrow then, Carson's expected to start for Sunderland who have their two first choice keepers (one also being an ex spireite) injured.

Well he has to do well in the Championship or surrender any dreams of a higher league; personally I think he has much to prove and he may discover that a club like Middlesbrough, who expect to be playing top-flight soccer next season, want prolific output from him; has he really been that at any stage (injuries accepted) of his senior career? We'll see if he's retained down the stretch.

Given the amount of below par players middlesbrough have had over the years Folan should do well there. They seem to have a knack of signing poor overseas players for the cheap option and the signings not being good enough, hence why they got relegated. Having seen them on tv a few weeks ago they do look to have some quite good youngsters who have come through the ranks, but they've signed some crap over the years, i'm suprised at Huth going to Stoke too as i don't rate him, he even looked pants against mansfield a year or two ago. Folan has never been prolific but surely they know that.
