:D

I would really like another signing before the deadline though with the saving as we are well short of quality in numbers.

Good riddance!

I can't imagine they'll be picking up much of his wage. But it's nice to be rid of him either way.

Have to say I've been disappointed with him. When the signing was announced I was well chuffed that a striker with his record at a higher level would sign for us and was hoping for great things. Yes he managed double figures last season but he just didn't seem that bothered most of the time.

SEB, hmmm where to begin, Dean Saunders believed he would be the key to bridging the gap between our previous season and sides like Preston who had finished some 20 points above us, a Preston side ironically with Ebanks-Blake barely featuring and consequently released. His record thus far is approx. 1 in 3, decent for any striker, yet it is obvious that something is sadly missing from SEB's contribution to the cause. Wilson clearly does not see him as a contributor to the club and so this has to be a good move, draw a line under a poor error of judgement from the previous manager and a CEO who backed the signing. Wilkinson coming in, no idea, I've heard of him but can't say I know much about the lad, Danny presumably see's something that can add to us, but like someone else in the thread has said and I agree we could do with another, let's not forget we have one proven league one goal scorer now in our squad and if anything happens to him, we look distinctly light up front. one hour and a bit to go...

Shocking day really. I just hope Shrewsbury are paying their fair whack, otherwise we aren't really any better off (unless we have a late, late one yet to be announced).

Joy at seb leaving has turned to despair at his replacement!
