Today I have heard rumours that Roy and Hursty have fallen out any truth?
I think hes been dropped cos he is perhaps tired and a bit jaded. Not because of a fall out but have you lot heard anything ?

Whenever a player is missing from the starting line-up it is customary for some comedian to spread a rumour about a fall-out between said player and manager. Remember, it is only about three weeks since Janos Kovacs "stormed out;" where was he today, I wonder?

Dan - next time someone tells you one of these "my mate says" things, put on a Cornish accent and say "You'll be telling me the Earth is round, next." That's about all they deserve :P

With the Dee Dah's getting promoted, this increases our chances of getting Hurst on a permanent basis?

Surely time to make up then? :P

They'd be as well to hang on to him, for their 2007-8 Championship campaign. :D

He is under contract to United so they will want a fee, they will need all the money they can get to stay in the premiership,so i would forget about Hurst becoming a town player,Hubbard will not pay a fee,he's already said this a few months ago :D

So will they pay him for three years with little prospect of him appearing in the team, or will they try to have someone else pick-up his contract?

No he will probably be sold just like Clingan to a championship team, and where will Picken end up Forest who could go up via the playoffs, while we slip down the league yet again,Pete look at this so called bigger picture,in reality it isn't getting any bigger at all is it,if we don't gamble we will get relegated and that will become a reality,i am town thru and thru if this board want success then they should start to show it by supporting Roy,i will tell you this if we wasn't so strapped for cash Roy would have been sacked on his results alone :P

Actually I see quite the opposite. Now they're in the Premiership they will be in for the tune of £20 million or whatever it is.

Hursts chances of appearing in their first team must now be pretty miniscule. He was 3/4th choice for his position already and with Warnocks policy of buying 500 players every transfer window, he'll end up 5/6th in line.

With that in mind, would they actually be concerned about, say a £50k transfer fee from Town? Surely offloading to make room for new recruits would be better.

A possibility could be sorting some kind of deal along the lines of what we did to get Niven. No transfer fee but big selling on fee for Bolton. Remember Bolton bought Niven for £100k from Raith so he was viewed as being worth something too.

Isn't it the case that only four League One clubs have bought players this season?

Where have i slagged the team off ?

And Pete i don't look at what other league one teams are spending,i am only interested in us,O'Hara man of the match yesterday,he won't be here next season, will Picken ?,will Hurst ?,these exciting players have made our team this season,we surely need a settled squad or we are never going to be good enough.

I don't really know but you must agree we need a much bigger squad and a settled side.

Its Not what we want its more like what does Hurst want. If i was him i wouldnt want to be warming the bench only to see someone get onto the pitch that in my opinion isn't fit to tie Hursts boots (Smith).
