Its not a fiver int away end bolton won't drop prices for away fans and there's no way I'm going int home end.... i don't like celebrating goals anymore, I'm not used to it.

I'll be in the home end with a Bolton season ticket holder mate. (I've got a free ticket from one of his mates). Got a feeling I'll be on my feet a few times!

It won't be anywhere near what it should be but i think we will take a substantial following. Previously unvisited grounds are a rare experience these days.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Anyone who goes in home end to save £10 is tighter than a ducks bottom. Done it a few times when town have sold out away end and it's absolutely garbage

At a time when there was a feelgood factor at the Proact and we went 3 up against the Blunts every goal we scored was celebrated by every town fan around us in the West stand leaping to their feet in celebration

Two at the side of me just sat motionless as every goal went in

I just turned and said I do not think you should be here or words to that effect :windup and they just sat silent

I suppose their accent would have given the game away even more

I suppose it could be even more difficult in the Bolton end if the goals go in quite regularly for the home side

I'm already in discussions over a plan for WHEN they score!!!
To be fair, the same mate sat with me in our end when we beat Bolton and did at least stand up for our goal!
It'll be more the accent that gives it away!

We went in Bolton end (side really) in the FA cup and cheered every KD goal. At end of the game Bolton fans shook our hands and wished us well.

Not doing it to save a tenner.
Crashing at his the night before. Going for a few beers on the Friday and then before the game.
We're going to Manchester after and then I'm crashing at his again afterwards. I'm not familiar with the area. Safety in numbers and all that!!
To be honest, it's more about the session than the game. I know what the outcome of the game will be!!

I went in Red Lion at the home game with a couple of coach loads of them. They were pretty decent to be fair.
Met quite a few afterwards in Town too and they congratulated us and openly said that we deserved it and, playing like that, we shouldn't be anywhere near the position we're in!

I've emailed the EFL and asked that they investigate the pricing structure for this match

Didn't Carson say that he'd asked Bolton to make it £5 for us too but they said that they'd have to pay another £30k or so for extra policing due to the projected increase in numbers?

Don't say no chance to things you don't control. You're going to be suprised.

I'd ease off criticising people for making bold statements if I were you:

"Forget SEB, he's finished here, he'll never play for us again"

Changed manager Pal! Statement therefore don't count. DANNY must have been wrong about him, he's been ripping it up.

As you were...

You're counting them then, you'll be in your element season after next.

SEB came back after Danny had been sacked, not that it matters.

Response from EFL:

Thank you for your email.

In relation to the fixture you refer to, this game has been designated as a ‘local promotion’ fixture by the home club.

All clubs must comply with EFL regulation 34.2.8 in not charging higher admission prices for visiting supporters for accommodation that is ranked as comparable with or inferior to that used by supporters of the Home Club in the same or next highest ranked accommodation. This regulation exists to protect supporters in requiring clubs to set their seasonal pricing plans upfront, at the start of the season, to comply with this. However while that is an overarching requirement, regulation 34.2.11 enables all 72 clubs to run local promotions a maximum of four times per season as per 34.2.11 should they wish, whereby regulation 34.2.8 does not apply.

The local promotion regulation, which came into effect in 2006, was voted in by our member clubs themselves, giving each club the opportunity to reduce tickets for home fans only up to a maximum of four times a season, in an attempt to both minimise the chance of consistent disparity in price but also afford all 72 member clubs the opportunity to offer strategic price promotions to their local fanbase. In that respect the policy chosen by Bolton Wanderers for this match is entirely theirs. They have operated within the regulations and any subsequent pricing policy is a decision made by that club only. EFL rules and regulations are passed by the EFL’s member clubs themselves, and should our member clubs want to amend or change this regulation, then they are entitled to propose a vote to do so.

Thank you for contacting the EFL.

oh dear

I hope considered this rule when we announced all u16 tickets were £1 for the rest of the season?

Presumably, that applies to away fans now as we've done it for more than 4 games
