Went in the Globe Bar & Grill for a pre-match pint yesterday, a tidy little place. A similiar facility in the East Stand would take up about a third of the lower floor and in the week could double up as the day time Cafe bar which is supposedly planned for the East Stand. The bar wouldn't hold masses (Globe Bar capacity 200) so maybe membership would be required but it would be sure to be more profitable on match days than a cafe bar, if such a facility is to be open matchdays.
The talk is about work starting on the East Stand within the next month or so, isn't it time the plans were actually revealed, if as we are led to believe, all the contracts have been signed.
