Have a word with yourself, you're paying to watch him play badly!

Ever played pro football?

How many pro games had you played by the time you were 25?

I'm not a Robertson fan and was, like others, quick to criticise his mistakes

However, he is arguably Towns most improved player over recent months and instead it looks like Gritton, rightly or wrongly, is now becoming a target

Gritton will probably be able to deal with it whereas Gregor seems very sensitive and if the remaining "dissenters" could get off his back he could get even better

Given that we've spent 20 of the last 50 years in this division it shows that this division is very much part of our history and being in it now is not as bad as people seem to think for our standards. He has had 2 years though now to get us promoted and at present we have less points than we did at this stage last season and the amount of points required to get into the play offs is much lower than last season. Last season was a fluke, we were unfortunate to miss out by so many points, but this season especially given that 4 teams have had points deductions we should be in mix. We finally made it into the play offs after so much hard work in march and then in typical fashion we went and mucked it up when it was most important.

The only way Rico deserves a new contract now is if we make it into the play offs, and in order to do that we need to win two games on the trot and turn our recent form around completely, plus we need to rely on several other teams mucking up when most of them are doing better than us at present.

Very profound and realistic I'd say.
