Exactly. The management have acknowledged the shortcomings, so why the need for endless posts of criticism from our ‘experts’ on here? ;)

Not sure what the point of this board is in that case. Inform, educate and entertain?
Or, on occasions, temper expectations even.
Anyway. Looking forward to seeing the highlights, especially our goals and efforts on goal.

I cant believe the amount of negativity and criticism on here!

Maybe if we had won 0-2 rather than 2-4 everybody would be happy but, then again people would be moaning that we only scored two!

Unbelievable Jeff!

Its not negativity. Areas for improvement I like to call it.

I thought that was the role of the manager and coaches to sort out during the games not que sera sera. If this is what he said it just confirms what I think about this overweighted management team who have had lots of money thrown at them. Time to prove their salaries, after all the Halifax and Borehamwoods of this league don’t have the money nor the support to leave anything to chance. If he said that he’s gone down in my estimation. Earn your money gentlemen

You state that yesterday confirmed your thoughts of Town's management team, with Danny going even further down in your estimation than he already was before.

It's fairly safe to say that at his age, and experience, there'll be no changes with Cookie's values, methodology or leadership,

With this all in mind, you're clearly not going to enjoy his remaining tenure, even if it brings promotion(s).

Me, I'm loving 6 points, 8 goals and coaching that gives young players freedom to express themselves, use their judgement and to make mistakes. Micro-management is old school and almost redundant.

I'm loving that the management team has the depth to give players the collective, and individual, time that will better help them review, and develop, in between matches.

Each to their own though.

A reply with a backed-up argument against what I said would be better I think rather than a random reply….

Let’s face it the management team have everything at their disposal at this level. There’s simply no excuse for such lame replies on their part.

And as for our robot manager, I take it all back, instead of making subs in the 70th minute it was the 69th. Progress !

Your just pathetic. Your now just calling Cookie for the sake of it, we've won both matches and you complain.
Absolutely pathetic.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

I was only going about what has been said about what Webb said.

If the management didn't want the full backs to keep pushing up then they should get that message out to them during the game.

Listening on 1866 it seems their man ran quite a way with the ball before scoring. If Shecks gave the ball away didn't we have 2 defensive midfielders, 2 centre backs, another full back and a goalie around to cover?

It was an intercepted pass with no cover for their player who had just entered the game. Unfortunately for us he was like shirts off of a shovel and he finished with a devastating shot. Tyrer unsighted.
God I hate this league.

This will be controversial and don't get it twisted, some comprehensive wins with clean sheets would be a delight, but I really enjoyed Dorking. It was tense, we battled and came out victorious. Easy to say because we got three points but it was a hugely entertaining game. Better than a one - nil win.

He’s more steak and ale than gammon.

He’s also right, defensively we are not up to the standard expected.
A new hope.

I don't think that's controversial. I'm right there with you. Only 1 team in the last 7 seasons has won the NL whilst also letting in the fewest goals. (Leyton Orient).

We need to be more professional. Both fullbacks simply not good enough. Regardless of the win changes required. Nice to meet Ponte Pete.

Yet nearly every Manager comments on Jeff King being one of if not the best in the League.

Yes I am a big King fan. We need him back in. I don't rate Sheckleford nor Horton weak links.

For the first time ever, I completely agree. It was obvious after about 15 minutes of our first game that we needed both King and Maguire back in. I can only assume PC was experimenting with the replacements for the first couple of games. Fortunately we got away with it because of our good attacking play, and he might get away with it again tonight, but against Oldham might be another story.
