Check the Cambridge dictionary definition.

Then take a long look in the mirror to assess stupidity and morality.

One is a verb (not offensive) One is an advective (offensive). As it relates to “mind” it’s an adjective……

He’ll run and hide as per then come back and ignore is my guess.

Don’t be silly - the word doesn’t relate to disability unless you want it to - and obviously wasn’t the intention.
Stop being so over dramatic people

Not really, it’s just a forecast. The proof of the pudding will be in the voting as always. Not that I voted Tory yesterday.
I fully expect a thumping Labour majority, but I’ll admit to a small amount, well large amount, of what will be ill disguised mirth, if they don’t get a majority. The “knickers in a twist “ gang on here would self combust. I must admit that article bought a much needed political boost to my night. But like you say, I’m not holding my breath.

This bloke who has been jizzing over Bo Jo et al for years finds it funny if Labour don’t get in after all the sorrow and hardship the Tories have caused over the last few years to so many families etc.
immigration Sky high, food banks all over the gaff, police cuts, poverty etc etc.

So how many can we genuinely say don't apply to the current tory party...

Looks like you were right on point 6!
Damn standing up to those Russian, Iranian and Chinese threats.
Pity Corbyns Labour didn’t get voted in in 2019, he’d have made sure we didn’t indulge in Nationalism! Now that would have been disturbing!

A tale of two leaders.

Yesterday, SKS appeared at a number of constituencies taking ad-hoc questions from journalists.

Even including GeeBeebies.

On the other hand his Tory counterpart was at an obviously off limits military base, refusing any media interviews, then fronting a highly select crowd celebrating the election of an individual who'd all but run as an independent.

Once again eschewing any one-to-one's. And after appearing in only pre-recorded sessions beforehand.

It's also telling that his party's representatives now repeatedly refer to 'Kier Starmer's Labour', no doubt knowing that plays well in focus groups. Meanwhile a Rishi Sunak so often metronomic and tetchy under scrutiny will be kept as far away from the voting public as possible.

He remains the Opposition's second greatest asset...

“He remains the oppositions second greatest asset”.
Not Labours policies,
Not Labours front bench,
Not how the public perceive the Labour Party,
Not how united, yeah right, the Labour party is, but the fact Sunak is poor ‘
Pretty damning statement about the Labour Party that!

Did you expect anything different? Of course he was going to come out and take questions as he celebrated victories. That’s PR, a media opportunity, call it whatever. It really doesn’t make him any kind of leader. If I was his campaign manager I’d have said “right you’re off to Blackpool!”…it’s not tricky. I’d have canned Angela Raynor from speaking too…1:1 I think she’s coming across much better but to a crowd she’s coming across as Wolfy from Citizen Smith.

As for Sunak being the “second greatest asset”…I think you do him a disservice. He’s higher than that.

I wasn’t well yesterday so listened to a lot of coverage….much of it went on the lines of “after 14 years of Tory rule, austerity etc etc” with no mention of the future, or future plans. Apart from the railway re-nationalisation I don’t think I could name a plan…is it too much to ask? I’m looking for an alternative to the worst government in history IMO as a floating voter….am I really left with “let’s give them a try they’re not the Tories”????

As for KS’s plans to solve the Drs pay dispute: “I’d sit them down, negotiate and solve the problem”. Alastair Campbell must have his head in his hands. Read his book if it’s not obvious.

Listen to Rosebud podcast with Gyles Brandreth when he interviews KS. I’m no GB fan normally but he’s very good in this. KS comes across as human, not scripted, likeable when he’s caught off the cuff talking about his Dad but when it’s a “stock” question about early childhood memories he goes all scripted and says “it’s when we were in the back of dads car, 4 children, four dogs just like four children on the backseat of a car”….. least it got me to sleep.
