So to try to make sense of this.

Sally was considered necessary enough to receive promotions which were no doubt accompanied by significant salary increases. Presumably after witnessing much of what's happened on Sheff Road over the last few years. Such as, say, all sorts of transactions between the Club and CFCFDS.

Infact in the absence any official CEO, part-time or otherwise, she joined Ashley Carson at events like the EPL AGM.

However when CFC were found guilty of sending questionable e-mails she took the rap. And apparently hasn't returned to her post since. Before now joining the long list of employees leaving with, I guess, a cheque in one hand and gagging order in the other. Perhaps she had to agree to the latter to receive the former, I dunno.

Just as I don't know how much that procession of exits have added to the debt.

What I do know, though, is that sooner or later one or more of those quite legitimately dubbed scapegoats could start talking. Maybe they already have. At which point we might discover if the Chairman's recent 'We've nothing to hide' was accurate...

Not worth the paper they're written on should things ever become 'official'.

Yet such 'gagging orders' or 'golden handshakes' must have cost the club £200k plus in the last 5 years

Scandalous!

This "ongoing financial review" that led to her departure - that would have been mentioned by a club spokesman at the AGM a couple of weeks ago, then?

Lol

All the chairman seemed interested in, when trying to address the shortfall, was increasing income!!!!

Absolutely mind-boggling!

Indeed. Some ruthless bosses might have deemed her actions a sackable offence. I'm just grateful that someone at CFC has some heart, even though it's cost the club a hefty redundancy payment when it could easily have cost nowt. I'm convinced the philanthropist is Ashley. After all, his humanity shone through when he reluctantly had to dispense with the services of Fitzgerald and Turner.

Isn't the post of Football Secretary one which is required by the Football League?

When Antony was made 'redundant' he was made to sign a confidentiality clause. Derbyshire times made contact wanting an interview... but he couldn't. Hence why nobody who has left has spoken out.

When these people have had thier pay offs how would a gagging order work? What's to stop them releasing the information anominously?

It's something Michael Dunford has done before at Derby

Is there a time limit on the gagging orders?

In an entirely unrelated event.....

'Championship side Derby are to sue their former chief executive Sam Rush for £7m, with the claim relating to transfer fees and player wages during his time at the club. (Mail)'

well, well, well. CEO's and pet agents hey!!.

Ashley I'm sure will go to great lengths to ensure that no barriers are put up to prevent future owners from doing forensic audits.
Thankfully, we've never had Directors' relatives on the payroll doing nowt, or frigged the attendance figures.

A perk not entirely restricted to the relatives of directors, as I understand it.
