    Including midfield an all.

Rumour has it it that SC was at the SMH stadium on the morning of the POTY awards, as was another OOC former player?

That was a right good listen. It was good to hear that one of his career highligts was our game against Chelsea.

IMO the increased number of teams year on year that can enter European competitions is a back door way of creating European leagues. Managers talk of player welfare of them playing too many games for their £100K a week salaries. Tell that to many fans working long hours each week to make ends meet. The solution for too many games is simple. Go back to the original formats in Europe for knock out rounds over 2 legs with European cup for genuine league winners, UEFA cup for places and cup winners cup for any cup winners. Keep cup replays and insist all Prem clubs play at least 2 pew season friendlies at lower division clubs. This won’t happen due to greed and the bigger clubs wanting a bigger slice of the pie and not caring who they tread on to get it. Is it time for salary caps as clubs seem to be finding a way around FFP, also possibly introduce a rule where there must be at least 5 players on the pitch at anytime from the country of origin. Just a few thoughts for debate

I totally agree with you there Benno. I hate the Champions League with a passion, which is no where near as exiting as the old knock out format where if the Big Boys under performed they where out. Now they can lose half of the game and still qualify for the next phase. Then thay get rewarded for failure by being demoted to the Europa League. What a load of Bulls**t.

    So do I.
With the best will in the world, I can't see Quigley ever getting the nod over Madden to replace Grigg if they are both on the bench. Happy days.

I expect Grigg & Madden to be on from the start with Quigley & Brown (if he signs) on the bench.
