Great couple of signings so far.....but the most important signing we need is a goalkeeper - Tyrer made such a difference last season...so if & a big IF we can get Tyrer back, or a top quality keeper of the same ilk

Rotating Grigg and Madden… wow

Madden has always looked to be more of an attacking midfielder to me, though he obviously gets forward a lot, judging by the number of goals he scores. When I've seen him play he appears to favour the Mandeville/Dobra positions, attacking from well outside the penalty area

From the highlight reel that was posted on here a few days ago, the vast majority were scored in the penalty area. So, from those highlights alone, it seems like he’s more in the Grigg mould……we seriously need to improve our crossing though and get some quality balls in the box!

I really liked DW - had quite a few arguments with those who, for some reason didn't rate him. I'm not sure Madden has Danny's eye for a defence - splitting pass, but he's a very good signing who will score goals regularly.

I'm very happy he's coming here, but I don't think he's anything like Grigg in playing style. Grigg finds space right inside the area and usually scores from less than 6 yards, whereas Madden seems to like picking the ball up well outside the area and running at defenders. However and wherever he plays, I completely trust PC to find him a very effective role in the team for next season.

Probably the same folk that didnt rate Mark Allott....they were crap because they didnt run round all over the place diving into tackles.

You're on the same wavelength as me with that one - MA and Nivo complemented each other perfectly, as did Ryan and Morsy at a later date.

He scores with both feet and his head, not just tap inside either, cracking signing.

Keep them coming town.

Let's just take a moment to take this in. We've got a strike force of Will Grigg and Paddy Madden.
When we got relegated to the NL we could've only dreamed of that quality type of player.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

These are signings that are game changers. If you understand the game you understand if you don't you won't.

So even last season not thinking about previous seasons you didnt think Naylor or Grigg were game changing signings?

Who would have thought that someone dropping from playing regular football in the Championship would do so well in the National League....

If he's signed as a '10' imagine perming 3 from
Dobs,Coco Banks Crackers,Mandy,Bez and now Madden!

Just remember that before creating a thread calling for him to be sent to the knackers yard for not scoring in a game!

Some goals in the squad that's for sure. Bit of work to be done at the back but we're looking very decent.
