We don’t need him at LB, we already have an adequate one but MA seems set against him

After being truly awful at Ebbsfleet I think MA made his mind up.

He's more a left back than Maguire. I really couldn't understand that selection.

I didn’t think McGuire did that badly against Barnet and we lost any shape we had when he went off. Still a square peg in a round hole though. A bit Rowley in central midfield. I don’t think we have the time to try and convert players to something they aren’t

Fortune Ugwu

Obviously Carter comes in when fit.

Fortune and Ugwu ?? Oh dear what a crap forward line.

Maguire had no influence on the game whatsoever. Talbot & Hines were the only ones that did. As I said we need a combative midfielder. We also need a goalscorer as currently we have none to speak of.

I agree, though I believe Fortune to be decent, he needs a genuine goal threat next to him, not 'no goals' Ugwu. (in fact he should be called 'no chances' Ugwu).

I wish I believed Fortune to be decent after Satdy. Seeing him strolling around not bothering to tackle.

Are we talking about the Barnet game here?

If so, Talbot had no influence whatsoever. Hines, yes, and Reid to a certain extent.

Didn't think Maguire did that much wrong but is not an attacking full back and it was noticeable that we lost all semblance of shape after he came off as well as their goal came from that side of the pitch he had vacated.

Having watched today we need changes, all over the pitch, something has to change.
Muggleton today was the worst individual performance I’ve seen in 40 years, embarrassing that he gets in our team.

Maybe; but not Barry.

I’d honestly like to pick some one off this forum to play rather than him.

Genuine question

At 42 would Jamie Cureton score more goals than any of our forwards ?

I think you would let alone Cureton.

Evans has scored more than Ugwu and Shaw for starters.

You've dropped Drew?????

I got a negative red one for suggesting he had a poor game on Saturday.

I'm with you by the way and your line up in a 4-1-3-2 formation with Rowley central of Hines and Reid. Weston the lone defensive midfielder.

Some people are blinded by loyalty to Drew for all his years of service, I’m seeing it from watching the games this season.
He did play better today than Saturday.

Rowley played well in central midfield when Weir was taken off. Play Weston as the defensive one and feed Rowley to create.
We need to shake Things up because today especially first 30 mins we were awful.

We are screwed. Going down my friend. And it’s before the 9 o’clock water shed.

Must admit, I wasn’t worried until I saw 4 get relegated. Thought it was two.

I remember those peak fm phone ins when I said forget the conference it’s the North conference we are heading. Poor joe couldn’t believe it. I got ridiculed but I firmly believe it. 4 teams going down opens the door.
