Another example of how food is in the states!! I can normally eat pretty well but when we were over in Boston and further up into Maine last November even i was starting to struggle after a few days! First morning we went for breakfast in Salem in a placed called Reds and we were confronted by these. Nearest to the camera is the wifes breakfast (she didnt finish it and still didnt eat again that day!)a corn beef hash, eggs, potatoes and toast whilst the other one is my meat omlette which was basically a case of someone taking a butchers and putting egg around it along with a load of sides! I finished mine and what the wife left from hers but was stuffed for the rest of the day!

I love the idea of contacting them and asking them to deliver to Newbold!

Do a google search on pizza fries - there is some proper scran amongst those images...

I dare not look at the google images. ^^Those breakfasts look immense too
Here we go again!

Its strange as they serve these massive portions but then most leave with half of it in a bag to eat later on! We were there at Thanksgiving and made a reservation before we went at some quite posh very well rated restaurant in Boston called Deuxave. $80 a head for three courses and drinks were fairly expensive as well....yet the main course rolled up looking like the attached picture with massive slices of turkey and folk were still leaving with half their meal in a bag to re heat at some point!

Well I now class myself as officially phobia free!!

After having a lifelong fear of spiders (I know, I know) yesterday I finally held in my hand a tarantula.

I wouldn't class myself as arachnophobic but I still wouldn't fancy holding a tarantula. Nice work though :)

I always thought of myself not being scared of anything........
Until I went down to the Mill Garden centre and saw the snakes..............
I don't like snakes, it will go as far as saying that they scare me. Whenever I go down there now they always get given a wide berth and I walk through very quickly!
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Tarantulas are fine, it's the small ones that crawl inside your ears you need to be scared of.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

The snakes there are massive!! My daughter likes to go there to look at all the animals and have a go on the go karts. The best thing there is that puffer fish they have. What an ugly thing!

Just got back from Boston and New England today. Can endorse the food is great - especially the sea food . Husband eat several whole lobsters - looked a bit like that tarantula would if it was boiled. Couldn't face it myself - I like it to look less like the live creature ! Tasted nice as lobster roll though. I know its hypocritical for anyone who isn't veggie , but don't like to look eye to eye with my food. And they are so weird looking
"Its much more important than that !"
