Tory Andy Street beaten by Labour's Richard Parker for WM mayor.

Despite also distancing himself from his party and it's leader.

Sunak is finished. The only question is will the Right replace him before or after an election hammering...

Starmer’s speech in the West Midlands very impressive. Clear, good content and powerful. No hubris and reaching out to non Labour voters. He is an excellent politician, able to deliver his message without oral pomposity. Labour HQ’s take on these elections apparently 370 - 400 seats if GE held now. That of course can change over the next 6 months. Street being soft soaped. The right wing Fabricant is his partner and he voted for Truss in the leadership election. Didn’t resign over HS2. Good riddance.

So I think what you are trying to say is, if it is a criminal offence (it is) then it will be time barred due to amount of time since she did it? In which case whet have the police not said they are not investigating it because even if guilty it is now time barred?

Highly objective on this one - especially if she has been underpaying tax (CGT or council) as a result of her declarations.

It is time barred so the police are not investigating it. That is obvious to anyone to be frank as there have been several publicised Tory newspaper accusations in the last year about Labour MPs. You think she is guilty cos you are anti Labour and suck up “She said to a neighbour I’m the Landlord”. Why you fear Reds under the Beds who tip up to a property that they are fiddling tax on and openly admit to someone who they have lived next to, that they are the “landlord” ,makes me smile. They are all thick surely. Except she didn’t, did she? CGT? Read your post that I responded to.
I couldn’t care about your political views, cos as you know I consider you to know little about politics, but I do get miffed about your claims to be objective. You’re not. I think you were probably bullied by a Skinner or your dad was a Scab. In truth I don’t know but don’t play the uncommitted. And stop jumping when you’re found out. Who started this thread?

I think the issue is simply whether she's lied about receiving expert advice, a bit like Boris would. Expert advice on CGT isn't ambiguous, so she's either followed it or not. If she did then surely she can sue the lawyer?

Not my point. She cannot be prosecuted for the electoral register. No idea about tax.

Bizarrely the tax matter isnt the real issue being investigated, its whether she lied on the electoral register.

I'll be very surprised if she didnt make an innocent mistake (yeah, righT) over her CGT and decided that they could avoid paying as they had two houses when they got married...

No it’s not. The police aren’t investigating the electoral register. They understand the law on what constitutes a criminal offence in providing false information for the electoral register and the time in which any transgression can be a criminal offence. Raynor might be embarrassed but she cannot be prosecuted with regards to the electoral register. If you like to be considered objective, which on any issue pertaining to the Labour Party you aren’t, at least get your ducks in a row.

A lot of words that include no facts so try this one...
The UK will be Europe’s best-performing major economy in the next 15 years, narrowing the gap with Germany and extending its lead over France, according to new long-run forecasts.
The Centre for Economics and Business Research predicted that GDP growth in the UK will settle between 1.6% and 1.8% in the period up until 2038, helping it retain its position as the world’s sixth-largest economy.

The forecasts published Tuesday predict that the UK will shake off an economic malaise lasting years that has been defined by Brexit and a string of shocks, including the pandemic and surging inflation.

Which kind of contradicts what you have said.... and means your conclusion is based on sand.

The CEBR? Not had a great record on forecasting especially re India and China which were misleadingly easy. You invest money. What are your financial consultants saying? Stop kidding a kidder. Forecasting up to 2038? Goodness me.
