Nice piece on Spurs website about him, saying how well he has come on over the last year. Talks about his International debut the other day and his loan spell with us, saying how much we had liked him and how well he had performed.

All very complimentary stuff - downside is it doesn't sound like they'll be letting him go anywhere.

Their website is www.spurs.co.uk - sorry don't know enough about technology to put a link on here!!

no chance of getting him on a season loan then?

Spurs are after a new keeper though are they not?

I`m not so sure Sam, he was only sub 6 times and only made the reserve team on NINE occassions!!! I think it said, so effectivly he is 3rd choice at best. Their goalkeeping coach is obviously impressed with his time at Chesterfield and may well be aware that a full season here, gaining experience as a No1, is better than another at Spurs basically just training.

I`ve not given up hope just yet.

I'm sure a season long loan from a Prem club would definitely mean Muggs being reserve keeper. If it had been Sharpe he was still going to be number one, wasn't he?
