Would love a new setup to include the legend that is Jim Brown at board level resprentation

Director of football? Maybe him and Danny together on a part time basis irking in areas each of them know well?

Would you ban Steve Coe from the ground?

Yes.:. He’s committed treason IMO. Staff at CFC don’t call him the squealer for no reason

I thought I heard AC / DA say regarding one of the attempted take overs 'lock, stock and barrel'
To me, that would mean the ground too

If Carson said it, can it be trusted?
I hope this is a genuine attempt by a third party to take over the whole shebang and not an Allen creation to take off his hands the irksome business of funding the footballing side.
These go to eleven.

Hiya

it didn't, directly.

However, a few hours after Phil's post, the DT exclusively revealed that an interested party and AC (on behalf of DA) had a meeting planned for this Friday to open disucssions on a possible sale.

**Hmmmm, I wonder how the DT found out**..........

Rebekah Vardy?
I just don't know what I'm supposed to be

i wouldn't expect any announcements today or any time soon, as in any negotiations today will just be about some kind of offer will be made, Carson will relay the offer to DA and then hopefully if the offer is accepted in principal the process of the fine detail will begin, but i cannot see anything happening quickly. Hopefully i am wrong and its tapped and wrapped quickly

Yep, 1 bounce an over a stricken Mike Salmon in Stockports goal.

Always remember the 25 or so Stockport fans being let into the west stand to get out of the rain lol.

Smurthwaite's name refuses to flush. "Anyone but Allen" is fine, but "Anyone but Norton" gave us Darren Brown.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

If its not good news (from the fans point of view) then i'd expect carsons first call after the meeting will be to the DT.

I think it’s more the corporate side of the business that DA has more of an interest in keeping hold of as this is a cash cow

Not sure anything has really come from the club though, it seems to have coincided with the post from Phil T and the story on the DT website wasnt on the back of anything official from the club.

Isn't that a myth? - it's moderately profitable, but not particularly sizable compared to his other business interests.

The mess involving the development school was crying out for his assistance. You only have to look at the fine work John Mann did in exposing the issue concerning the education programme linked to Worksop Town to see how far Toby fell short here.

As far as I am concerned, he is no different to the likes of Alan Biggs, the associate directors and the main board of directors.

I will add, it is very on-trend at the minute for members of parliament to raise issues about football governance, bad owners and the demise of clubs and communities, can you remember when was the last time Toby raised awareness of our plight under Dave Allen in an official capacity and on a national scale?

Never?

Remember that at the next election
