 Will there be enough cash available to employ the "Heavies",cos they'll be no police in the ground and our stewards won't fancy it.

I'm sure those in charge have plenty of 'heavies' to pick from, probably many of Eastern European origin, and probably already involved in "club business" in the past.

I can tell you now that Mansfield are getting an extra 800 seats in the first two blocks of the East stand. They were being sorted on Thursday whilst i was down at the club.

Have they already sold their initial allocation?

Don't understand the issue here, really.

Our little neighbours are enjoying their most successful season in decades whilst playing us is always the greatest event of their lives.

Infact there'll be more wanting tickets for the Proact than most games at Field Mill.

So as our stadium is properly designed to cater for any overflow they'll be handed a section of the East Stand, as many other clubs have been over the years.

If they see that as a kind of 'win', something to somehow celebrate, then it merely shows how small time they are.

I mean, it's not as if they're getting three sides or owt...

I hope they don't get the extra because we fill all available seats (heed these words the ones that watched on telly today and could have gone ) the support today was outstanding the team responded. Anyone who doesn't go (offering pathetic excuses) and could, wants no,,,NG, its the clubs life we are fighting for.

Agree. TV probably took 1000 off the gate and hopefully most will be back on Easter
Monday.

Disappointing and premature if correct, better waiting to see how the 3 games for 2 ticket offer that covers this game goes first.

If the game is crucial we’d go a long way to selling them without giving them away. I hope they are just being out to one side in case we don’t need them. If not yet another pshambolic decision if we risk town fans not getting a ticket. We don’t need to make a decision yet, so just wait and see how crowds go

For the record, four and a half thousand home fans on a Sunday afternoon when the game's televised.

Most of L2 can only dream of support like that.

(The mysterious five hundred-ish non-attending ST holders notwithstanding, of course...)

I hope that it wasn't TV that took 1000 off the gate.

I can understand folk sticking to principles and upholding their stay-away policy, whether I agree or not. A stand is being made and it maybe needed.

If the gate was down, in our predicament, due simply to it being on telly then I personally think this is unacceptable.

Didn’t go today. Watched on TV.
There’s 5 of us going to this one though.

They’ve got to give it another fortnight, surely?
A win at Vale and we could be out of bottom 2! If we go in a little run, there’s every chance we’ll sell at least some of them!

Just out of interest, why are you going to the Mansfield game but didn't go today and make no mention of the Newport home game before the Mansfield game?
