The root of the problems was the announcement that we'd be getting the whole stand and folk expecting the full capacity, therefore some S/T holders waiting for general sale so they could sit with mates/family. An early announcement as to the true amount of tickets to be allocated would have made the whole situation more palatable and nipped this angst in the bud. Poor communication by a club with Premiership experience. Very soilyhull.

Surely a major problem is that our club didn’t communicate the number of seats in the initial allocation (of 3500) until very late and by then there was only a few left. We often fail to mention the initial allocation which leads to confusion and people unable to make the correct judgement. The only thing that Watford could be blamed for is not allocating the full 4000 in the first place but that wouldn’t have made much difference anyway.
Also it didn’t help by claims that the end held 5800 being bandied about when most people on here thought 4000 would suffice anyway.
