I agree with you about Osborne. Yes, he's in the ref's ear from kick off but he is a decent footballer, dictates play, and as captain a leader on the pitch.

Also, I'm not Michael Cheek's biggest fan but have to admit he regularly does the business for Bromley.

More respect personally for Osborne, less for Cheek or should we call him Cheet. Osborne isn’t subtle when he fouls but Cheek is a sneaky devil with his elbows etc (maybe JQ should watch a few of his games to stop being bullied and learn a few dark arts of a striker at this level ?). Osborne played a blinder in the playoffs and just ran out of steam unfortunately for his team in the final. Mixed feelings about Bromley being promoted tbh, I was willing Solihull to win as I think they have a better style of play overall even though neither really add much. At least the plastic pitch will have to go 😄

That, like Droylsden, was a match where I almost gave up on football.
My wife asked why I was so anti-Solihull and I explained that they had one player so despicable I hope never to see him again. Though, to be fair to the filthy toerag, it was actually Ellis who pretended he’d been head-butted.

Anybody that plays in a team that made Curtis weston react to a situation in the way that he did is a

Well, Byron Webster had his fun winding up the crowd when we beat them in the semi last year. Fair play to him really for not reacting to some of the absolute donkeys hurling abuse at him then. I like his take on the shootout v Solihull:

Presumably this was while he was a sub warming up? Never saw or heard anything from where I was sat.

And Jamie Grimes

But they failed in their ploy to get Cookie sent off, by having a plant in the directors area hurl foul abuse at him in the first half of the play off game, fortunately the officials were clued up and had the perpetrator removed at H/T

How embarrassing is it that the powers that be can sit beside someone shouting abuse for 45 minutes and do nowt about it until match officals have to ask security to take action. A club rotton from the top. AMEN

Of course that Jamie Grimes alleged headbutting incident last season as well

Its no coincidence that its the same club involved at least we dont have to encounter their antics next season

No doubt we’ll come up against the same sort of thing this coming season, the bigger issue is will our players learn not to react to anything.
God I hate this league.

Tbh, I don't recall any abuse as such aimed at him, there was the shìt Robbie savage chant, which he himself turned and acknowledged but other that I can't say as I heard owt else ?

I'd say the chants were the usual, acceptable response to a sub on the wind-up, and he laughed at the Robbie Savage one- fair play- but there were some drunk individuals trying to get at him to hurl personal abuse. I remember marvelling at how (and why) people get so bothered about such daft things.

Yes, it was. He was on the pitch during the invasion at the end too, and thankfully nobody took a pop. The Bromley fans that day were pretty decent.
These go to eleven.
