Problem is, people expected VAR to be definitive when it is subjective, as are most decisions in life.
Of course what you deem a foul might be different to me, and so on, but some of the decisions they get wrong aren't even debatable, it really makes me wonder if the Premier League is just rotten to the core.
City's never-ending, never resolved charges, bizarrely bad officiating, certain clubs seeming to get targeted, there's only so much you can stomach before you start questioning things even as a neutral. -

Same reason we see hugely questionable VAR stuff every week.
No arguments from me regarding the jaw dropping nature of the decisions, but as said t'neet on Sky Forest's tweet was like me 'n' thee talking in the 'DD' rather than a professional outfit adopting a measured response...
Fair play to Forest I say, about time clubs stand up for themselves over these constant, bizarre fück ups. All the technology is there for officials yet they are still getting the most blatant decisions wrong, there's no excuse for it. You can't blame people for starting to question their integrity. -

Anything I've seen him on he's always come across as a good bloke. Even I'm a Celebrity when I used to watch that lol, he came across a decent, respectful fella -

We wouldn’t have a club without the efforts of Phil Tooley and co. His commentary is fine. Yes, he’s on the ‘inside’ and has to play it accordingly sometimes, but the flip side of that is having a decent insight as to what is actually going on at the club.
I didn’t watch today as I’m abroad for the first time in years, but wow, what a privileged lot we are. I feel for those who travelled and were let down but the wider picture is rosier than it has been since Cook left first time around.
The last time I listened to it he was loudly sucking and giving historical lessons on fruit pastilles. Don't know the bloke or anything about him, he might be a nice fella but he's rather toilet to listen to. Our media commentary bloke isn't any better either, couldn't make a home game the other week so watched on NLTV and it was like he didn't even know the rules of football. Was constantly calling things completely wrong. -

Ultimately it doesn't matter as they've done brilliantly to be in this position and achieved their target; but you still have to call that out as absolutely dreadful. At the end of the day there's still 8,000 home fans there that deserve effort and application. Some fringe players have probably put the nail in their own coffin there.
