Was this at the East Stand turnstile 3 or 4 weeks ago?- a single guy with baby, toddler and young child- stopped by a young idiotic steward- who made him empty his shoulder bag and get out the baby's bottle, nappies etc . I was absolutely furious and told an older Steward inside

No. End of last season. Similar situation though!

I don't think this clear the air meeting has any value.

Points raised are likely to be fobbed off and not taken seriously and then the relationship, the trust, between fans and the CEO appears to be zero.

Now Turnip may only be Allens lighting conductor, he may be involved in other enterprises that perhaps bring the name of CFC into disrepute with or without Allens knowledge, I don't know.

But I do think that regardless of what he says, his credibility with the fan base (or those that use bobs board) is so low no one will believe anything he says anyway, and I suspect that if pressed, he will get him self into a muddle and contradict himself thus adding to the distrust.

From here, it seems that the only thing that has become clear from the clear the air meeting is a severe lack of financial nouse and business acumen on the part of the CEO.

A new hope.

Surely his position as CEO is untenable?

If, after all of this, DA keeps him in position, then DA has only one man to blame for the woes the club finds itself in. Himself.
A new hope.

I'm off to tesco before the match to buy a turnip and put it on an empty seat in the East Stand! Would be hilarious if a few hundred did it and tried to lighten it up a bit!!

Agreed. But a turnip demonstration would be so funny and make an important point. Can u imagine stewards being told to confiscate turnips at the turnstyle! You couldn't make it up lol

Next home game. At a designated time (not to be posted on here) all turnip holders have to make their way pitchside and roll said root vegetables onto the pitch.

The difference between you and virtually everybody else on this board is that the vast majority would be happy to say hello and meet for a drink whereas you skulk and hide, and with comments like above I can see why.

Well, just returning after a few days to this thread it seems that the CEO has run rings round all the high-flying accountants on here once again, and the response is to roll turnips onto the pitch.
And you wonder why I prefer my own drinking friends?
