Cameron Fearon is at Matlock on the same terms. It is effectively a type of short-term loan but is in addition to the normal number allowed. There is an age limit and it allows Scholars who are not on a pro-contract to go on loan. They can play as normal.

I knew we had got one out on work experience but couldn't remember who it was,i would imagine it works the same as young school lads who go out on work experience.

Cameron has looked a good prospect when I've seen him, anybody know how he's being doing at Matlock?

I heard they thought more of him than Jackson, although both have joined in the middle of an injury crisis and run of poor results.

I've been to Matlock a few times over Christmas and they do seem to rate him more than Jackson. I thought he played well and was unlucky to get sent off in one game.

I went to watch Matlock play at Worksop on Saturday. Jackson didn't play as bad as I expected, but he wasn't great.
