Can't win um all nor play well every week but...
Your right about being all to easy to score past us! How many clean sheets have we had this season? I would love to know (if anybody can work it out) where we come in the league based on clean sheets!

Alot has been made about our excelence up front ( Jack ) and coming forward. But as every coach will say a good team is built on a sound defence. As the evidence surgests we don't have that sound defence. Nuff said!

But surely it's individual players, or the ref, or the weather, or even the fans for not being "true supporters" that's to blame.
Nowt to do with the management.

So the defence cant keep clean sheets, the midfield isnt up to it and no one scores but Jack.
I suggest we write this season off.

Our biggest fault is that we are unable to defend from the front, give the ball away too easily and can't defend set pieces for toffee. Oh! and a one man team when it comes to scoring.

SPOT ON! I don't think the defence is too problematic. We don't change our style of play to compensate for having no target man in the forward line which puts us under pressure from the off.

Yes it is! But as you well know it is not that simple to bring in the right players to change that!

Like the "...again" bit, by the way.
Spireite-Karl
So it's all down to "players", is it?
Well how long are you gonna give LR to bring in the right "players".
Marlon
Well obviously we're not third bottom, but as teams queue up around us and most of our home games are against top-half teams between now and May, can we be confident of fulfilling Hubbard and Richardson's "Only promotion will be good enough" criteria?

Very poor result, to be honest.
Again we play a resurrgent side who have been through the mill. They were more determined, hungrier for success and wanted it more than us.

Despite the festive four wins it is clear that Rico and Knill are in fact no closer to solving the problem of the ease with which goals are conceded. If they don't address this problem in the transfer window, we might not even make the play offs

Are you confident we will beat Rochdale, or stop them from scoring? They are doing great away from home

It is though you expect opposing teams just to lay down and let us win, football matey doesn't always work the way you want it to,just ask MK Dons fans today or Peterboro or Wycombe to mention just three who thought they were certs to win today

theres obviously a difference between 'confident of going up' and seeing it as a formality. Im still confident we can go up... though I believe our current situation can be seen two ways. Are we a team that has been fortunate to be up there for so long, and will fade away, or are we a team that hasnt quite got running, and if we do, we will maintain and improve upon our current position?
What I am worried about is the top three pulling away, and we get dragged into a bunfight with a number of clubs fighting it out for the four lottery spots. That said, I guess Darlington and Peterbrough have said that in recent weeks.
No doubt Mk and Rotherham lookin a bit untouchable at the minute.... if were going to say, even at this stage, that theres one automatic place up for grabs, Im not confident of grabbing it.

Your right Blue but then again so is Chris, well in a funny sort of way! We still have the same old problem that we've had for far to long to remember! and we still are no nearer addressing it! Still easier said that done though Chris isn't it?? or else every team in our league would have done it!!
