Mark is a man of huge integrity and has done more than most to expose issues on Sheff Road.

I welcome him being an intermediary for Ashley Carson; it's then up to the 'Bob's Board' membership to interpret those statements as they choose.

Exactly.

The 5% has not been denied yet and its been discussed on here enough for the club to quash it

There's anecdotal evidence on t'internet supporting long standing rumours that CT may have lost a small fortune (£250k?) on his Hillsborough takeover mishap. This is pretty flimsy evidence overall, which I of course don't believe.

Coincidentally he may even exceed that total if the 5% is true because I assume the arrangement would remain in place for any further payments for Clucas and Tendayi, which must be just about nailed on.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

To be fair to CPS, the whole thing started over him saying SEB was being paid 5k. The reply from AC via Moondog whiffs a bit in my opinion. He replys that our ceiling IS 3k (what was the ceiling last year when SEB was signed?).

All well and good, but if we are paying SEB 3k (i don't know if we are btw), then the Shrews may well be covering the other 2k.

I'm happy to hear AC's input, but via his replies so far he has not denied that we are contracted to pay SEB 5k a week (just stated what the clubs CURRENT wage policy is), and Moondog (whom i don't know, but have absolutely no reason to question his integrity whatsoever) would do well to hold AC's feet closely to the fire if he is to act as an intermediary.

Maybe I do him a disservice- if so apologies (but was a little peturbed to receive DM's from AC around the time we signed Evans- may not have been Moondog I guess but don't know of many other mods who got involved at the time)

True dat (but that's what makes Internet forums go round I guess)?

It seems I need to take the exceptional step of publicly reminding you of the following PM you sent me headed " Evans again" where my only involvement was complying with your request after AC contacted you directly.

Hi there,
Please delete my comments on the Young Spireites thread as Ashley Carson is again not happy and threatened legal action....

I replied saying a fan of 40+ years surely wouldn't be sued by the club etc but apparently they will.

(I will never go to a game again sadly)

A heartbroken CPS

So you now post private messages?
Stay classy Moondog- that's a low even for you.
I'm tempted to post AC's in that case....,( but a private message is just that- private).
Shame on you Moondog- you lack the integrity spoken of earlier by others.

You accused me of effectively grassing you up, also implying I've wrongly moderated posts of yours when in fact I've acted on your wishes I also later did you a huge favour in moderating an even more libellous post after you failed to heed the warning AC gave you, before he saw it. Im half tempted to reinstate that now Ched's been cleared.

Make a libellous public attack, expect a factual public defence

Get it reinstated, live by the sword die by the sword.
Let's see if he pleads guilty because it would save him money.

It is a timely reminder what a sorry state of affairs the whole club is in when you read this thread.

I don't know what the big deal is here. These are Dave Allen's personnel shares owned by him.
He has given them to me for nothing. !!
He transferred some to his daughter and was left with 63%. He passed on the 3% to me.
Of course you don't get a similar deal.

Hope this helps, happy for you to post this

I thank Ashley for taking part in the dialogue. I does seem to me though that as an officer and director of CFC he has received a benefit. We'll have to beg to differ. He's the expert.

From the Inland Revenue's point of view Ashley has received no Benefit in Kind.

CFC have given him nothing.

DA has transferred a number of shares to him, DA can gift, or sell, his shares in CFC to anyone just like he can any other share holdings he may have. There might be Inheritance Tax implications if DA has gifted the shares should he fail to live a further 7 years but that is about it.

Not nearly as straightforward as you state. This article gives detail http://www.markmclau...p/archives/1465

Haven't the club already fallen foul of an investigation by the HMRC this year regarding benefit in kind payments ?

To be fair, if HMRC challenged that the gift of shares was 'earnings' I would argue they are worthless!

Or, and I know this sounds mad, but if they do disagree with a poster and have different information, actually post it and the source. Discussion would be nice. Character assassination ain't.

Is DA trying to strengthen his voting power on the boardroom by donating share, is something in the offing.
God I hate this league.
