Here's the match preview. Also got an interview with SEB which we'll play after 2pm on Saturday.
Cheers

Dean Saunders says Rai Simons only made the bench at Walsall due to a heel injury, but is now fully fit again.
Saunders says Ian Evatt's suspended shoes take a good deal of filling but it's a big chance for whoever replaces him on Saturday.
Saunders says that his side played three triallists in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Sheffield United, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

SEB told me he has always played better with a strike partner "it's someone else to occupy the defence" #Spireites.
Dean Saunders confirmed that Chris Herd is not suspended as he only has 4 bookings. #Spireites
Also Rai Simons has had an injured heel over the past week or so which is what has kept him on the bench. #Spireites.

Surely DS would never, at this stage of his development, picked Rai ahead of a fit Novak?. Unless he was thinking of leaving out Jayo.?

Oh, I wonder who that might be. I suppose it's possible it could be Sam Hird.

Would have to be a dip in form which isn't evident over the last two games.

I certainly hope it is Hird, as I think he's been unlucky to lose his place in the team. Scunthorpe have conceded a lot of goals from corners and free kicks, and their forum is awash with criticism of their keeper for not coming for crosses. Now Evo has IMO been excellent this season at getting on the end of crosses and getting good headers in - to be honest from my place on the Kop his header looked a foot over the line for the third goal before SEB made sure. Evo will be a big loss Saturday, at the back and up front, but, despite his lack of height Sam Hird is probably the best player we've got for attacking crosses into the opposition penalty box, so I can see him getting on the scoresheet

Wow. Dan Gardner, 3 goals 8 assists. We have a player. I'd like to see him taking free kicks when they are within pot shot distance.

You forgot two more stat's for Dan Gardner, 0 tackles, 0 headers.
He's got better going forward but how can a professional footballer not be able to tackle beggers belief.

You mean someone like Gary Roberts?.
I'm confident Gardner is perfectly capable of nodding one in at the far post, unlike Gboly and Jayo.

You are an idiot. I know I shouldn't abuse people for having different opinions but you are, so I shall.
Also surely 8 assists is stretching it a bit? As much as I enjoy Gardner.
Edit; just checked our website, says he's got 4 which sounds more realistic and is still an impressive tally. He's really come on this season.

Ah a long lost Gary Roberts fan, still mourning his departure are we?
As for being an idiot so be it in your eyes, but most modern footballer's can at least tackle and mark an opponent. And before your brain jumps into gear I know he's not a defender but he should still do his bit.

I'm surprised to see Sam on the bench if I'm honest.
Rejoice
