I know there's no other scenario that could brought this about but I'm trying to decipher if this has deeper meanings.
Liked the 'I'm not sure what Chris did as CEO' line from Karen

19 players out of contract in the same season? Just who's responsible for that clusterfeck? The same person who let around a dozen contracts do the same last year or the year before? And the person who let it happen is now given a new job title of director of football?
We just don't learn, do we?

he talked about wanting a younger manager who has some experience but loadsa experience isn't a pre-requisite
a manager who could wheel and deal in this window.
I don't know what the budget was like at Burton (forgive my ignorance) but I would suggest the one name out there who fits this kind of bill is JFH ???

Enthusiasm mmm I'd say how do you do that with all the negativity surrounding the club.
