listening to todays game, sounded like we did really well both with and without the ball, promise again from Rowley, remembering that Bolton were on a great run, is that a performance to give us hope? I don't mean of staying up btw, I just mean hope that maybe, just maybe GC can do something, ok no goals , didn't concede either (that's twice we've shut out Bolton this season). all in all well done, I like many thought we'd get smashed today.

Gotta agree with you there Jack. We're down but a decent end to the season gives us momentum. Happened at Donny last year

Had several texts from a mate at the game, said it was a very good performance and we were the better side. So a plus for Caldwell.
More,of this and much less of Rochdale etc then maybe. But for one game, credit where it's due.

Agreed, still sat in a booza nr ground, waiting for train station to clear, and really really enjoying the pint, what a difference a performance makes, if only we took 1 of the chances 1st half..???
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

CD and JN showing signs of a partnership in midfield only for steady Eddy Idioton to spoil it by bandishing 2 petty yellows (compared to what they got away with) therfore we'll have to change things next week.

I thought the ref had a mare today and let Bolton bully our young team with no protection and one callous foul on Rowley was disgraceful but the kid just brushed himself down as the ref wouldn't even look at him. A good all round performance today and every one played their part and we should have won and just needed rub of the green and I actually enjoyed going to the game today

yes absolutely, I think in a season that has been so disappointing and with so many question marks around the club on and off the field today was a day I expected us to get humiliated, so to listen in today and here such positives, well for once it was just nice.

It actually felt as though we had won today that was an outstanding battling performance which has been lacking for months. We could have been 3 up by ht and I can't remember any worthwhile saves the BGF had to make. The one big factor was that the starting eleven only featured one loanee.W may be down but more battling performances like today should bring a smile on the faces of Blues fans and a fresh hope for a brighter future next season. I was really pleased and proud for our own youngsters, Rowley, McGuire, Dimaeo, Donnaghue, Dennis & Nolan( along with German & Beesley), these lads should ensure the future is bright for the Spireites. Great to see Hird as skipper and back to his best, Anderson (my motm) & McGinn (his best game so far)looked solid at the back. Dan Gardner also had one of his better games.
It was a good draw against a strong Bolton side but it felt like a win. Also, good to see GC come down to the away fans and applaud us. The travelling kop choir were amazing all afternoon and made plenty of noise.

Totally agree. It was nice to have positive things to talk about on the way home.
Another strange ref who allowed Bolton to get away with fouls and was quick to book our players for things a lot less serious. Don't know where they got 5 added minutes and still managed to play at least nearly 7.

Just got back after what I thought was going to be a very torrid afternoon for Town. But what a pleasant surprise, almost worth the 500 mile round trip!

To little, to late I'm afraid, but if we carry on playing like that between now and the end of the season at least we won't finish bottom.

These games crop up now and then - Barnsley 2016? To be pragmatic - it bodes well for next season - although we do need a Jack Lester and Craig Davies - easier said than done!

Yes. This is all I've been asking for in performances - some fight and desire. We lacked quality in the final third but definitely lacked no desire. Something that can't always be said under GC
