Football Songs

We know vocal support can lift the side, but does it matter WHAT the chant is?
Watching the Burnley program now - and it showed Burnley fans singing “stand up for kompany”
Made me think, would stand up for company he rousing for the players?
So to us, what “song” is likely to rouse our players more than others?
We are sailing?
Come on you blues?
Putting on a show?
Individual things for players?
Paul Cooks barmy Army?
The claps followed by “spireites”
Just the “roar of the crowd” when a corner/free kick/foul etc is given?
I reckon Tooley or Fisher could ask cookie? If there’s something the manager feels gives more of an edge?
It would be proper interesting to get a manager/player view on what the crowd chant/sing and how that has an impact on the pitch -

Go girls, win the trophy
Serina has done great job- probably as much as anything she’s recognised the limitations of female athletes and instead of trying to improving what the body can’t do as pre t might have been the case under Neville and the rest, but accepts the physical limitations of the female form and exploits the negative that the female form can be improved on?
Is it a coincidence that a female manager of a female football has now rescue the last FOUR finals in female competition rather than a female side managed by a man?
A girl, using girls as players and playing to girl’s strength instead of asking girls to play like men?
10/10 for her -
New Kit
11 July 2023 - 07:52 AM
Just seen the new away kit. First thought was tyre track!
Two seconds later - what a brilliant design - the lead tiles on the crooked spire as an overlay print on the shirt. Love it. I’d like to see that in white on the blue shirt.
Will deffo buy that away kit. Great piece of individual design that ties our town and club together. Love it. Whoever came up with that well done
