If I wasn't a spireite, I wouldn't believe what I've just seen....

We played well today. We played a 4-4-2 that all the players understood. We created chances and dealt with County with ease for most of the 90.
And then - 2 goals conceded in 5 minutes.
How and Why.
What is going wrong with this side that we continuously leak late goals?

The keeper is very comfortable distributing the ball, but he’s not the cat when it comes to diving is he? He’s more on his heels than I am when I reach for my wine glass. I honestly don’t think he’s made a save as such yet for us.

The 3 goals are just pathetic. 3 set pieces. The goalkeeper may as well go back to Barnsley as there is no way the 18 year old on the bench is any worse.
Today just summed up the club as a whole. Garbage from top to bottom.
To the new manager - good luck. Mourinho couldn’t save this lot

If I hadn’t watched that and just saw the result it probably wouldn’t have had that much of an impact, but how we’ve lost these games is pathetic. They are spineless and that’s what really gets to me. I cba
We’ve out done ourselves today. We could have had 9 points this week, we’ve had 0

We had an academy manager who brought in a skills coach to assist him. I'd be surprised if the players even had a shred of respect for them.
I'd bet diamonds that the players went into the changing room and had a friendly chat about how it went wrong when it should've been players squaring upto each other. Not showing any passion and getting paid for it. Disgraceful.

Can’t remember a game when we used no subs , I knewdungworth was stuck in the seventies but at least I thought he knew you could bring subs on

I believe he didn't make a save against Altrincham but that lot in front of him still managed to lose the game.
I didn't watch today. Couldn't believe Dungworth awarded failure. And, they didn't let him down as they repeated what he has been looking at and obviously accepted all season.
Just hope that Dungworth isn't in charge for the next game and the incoming guy has reviewed and analysed our matches this season. If he thinks we are nearly there we have serious problems. If he sees what most of us see we stand a chance. The answers to the question of "what is he going to do about it" could be interesting at his interview.

Totally agree with you about the keeper. Distributes the ball pretty well but flops around on the ground a lot and is not effective. You could probably play Evans there and he would be more effective. Now there’s a thought for him...

This can’t be really happening, can it?
The way we lose games is like the polar opposite of Roy Of The Rovers, if someone actually wrote this s h I t you’d say it was too far fetched to be believed

Totally agree, he seems afraid to dive, he’s got a good kick but doesn’t control his area
