Warfey, it's said that everyone has a good book in them,go for it mate. It would be nice to see all the names from my youth in print, other than when they used to appear in the Derbyshire Times crime pages 😆.
I'm a bit younger than you pal, but I remember those times, home and away following our beloved Spireites.
Rather than writing it down, record your ideas first, it could help.
Good luck with your medical problems mate and keep your chin up.

If you record your recollections, you can get google or something to create a transcript then put the transcript through an AI system to clean it up, then you can do a read through and edit. Saves a lot of typing
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

I work with AI all the time but I?m not sure it?s quite up to that challenge yet.

Seriously, have a go- why not? I wrote a book many years ago and all the publishers just said ?Turn it into a murder mystery and it will sell?. Even if the book doesn?t sell, it means your memories are not lost.
