Even our closest relatives, the great apes, move smoothly from their juvenile to adult life phases – so why do humans spend an agonizing decade skulking around in hoodies?

When people put fake tan exclusively on their face

When people act differently around their friends to what they’re really like

Why people like horror movies

When people care so so much about what other people are doing with their lives, like it’s a competition

When people physically fight over things that don’t really matter, like sport

When girls can’t leave the house without make up on

When people get really emotionally invested and interested in the lives of celebrities

When people think they’re superior because they have more money

When people sit in the sun then complain they have got burnt

Ironing

Kids shoes with lights and wheels on them

When people visit a fortune teller more than once

Then there others too

Like why are single items of clothing called pairs. ie Trousers, tights etc

Like why is one sheep and two sheep. Why is there no plural for sheep?

You must have some

How is it possible that I can put 2 socks into the washing machine yet only find 1 when I open it?

Because they're comfortable to wear and if it's raining you've got a hood. Nothing wrong or 'intimidating' about wearing a hoody.

When people put fake tan exclusively on their face

I don't think anyone does that? Some girls wear too dark a shade of foundation, maybe that's what you're referring to.

When people act differently around their friends to what they’re really like

Why people like horror movies

The tension - it's a strange feeling but I like it.

When people care so so much about what other people are doing with their lives, like it’s a competition

When people physically fight over things that don’t really matter, like sport

When girls can’t leave the house without make up on

Because girls always wear make up they've set a higher standard for attractiveness - now they're afraid to stoop below that level. Most women do look a lot better with it on tbh (as long as it's not too much).

When people get really emotionally invested and interested in the lives of celebrities

Couldn't agree more, it's embarrassing. There's a girl in our office who's always on about the latest celebrity scandal/date, I pity her.

When people think they’re superior because they have more money

When people sit in the sun then complain they have got burnt

Ironing

Kids shoes with lights and wheels on them

When people visit a fortune teller more than once

When people visit a fortune teller at all - or a medium, for that matter. Stupid thing to do.

Then there others too

Like why are single items of clothing called pairs. ie Trousers, tights etc

Just thought I'd reply to a few :)

I don't understand why there are still racists about. I also don't get religion (well, I do, but it's silly imo - seems like more of a crutch than anything but it does has its benefits as well as (very large) cons).

Think hoodies have an unfair rep, I've got quite a few and I'm by no means a teenager. Rather wear one than walk round with my jeans down showing my bottom off as appears to be the trend or even worse those really skinny leg jeans!

"The smell of your wee may be due to a number of medical reasons which may include the inability of your body to process the sugar in your blood leading to a medical condition called hyperglycemia. this condition is attributed to lack of the appropriate hormone required in the breakdown of sugar in the blood"
