He's a centre-forward who played over 30 games last season in League One. He has experience, hunger and desire and he will fit in perfectly well with all our squad.
I've been tracking him for a good few weeks and I thought he was signing for a team in the league above, but last night he called me and we got a deal done. He left London this morning at 6am and he was up here to sign at 8.30.
He goes straight into our squad for tomorrow's game and our squad is now complete.
Take care,
Martin

My first thoughts were "Fortune- he's shot and about 40"!!
(I was thinking Jonathon Fortune the ex-Charlton guy who I worked a lot with - wouid be a terrible signing)- he's only 37 staggeringly though!
This Marc Antoine Fortune is similar age - I think he'll be a good 'un though - u like the SEB types , MA won't tolerate any laziness etc I'm sure.
I reckon he'll score 20+

Yes, but MA says he's not a prolific scorer so 20+ is optimistic. He is probably going to provide for Ugwu/Hines/Shaw. As long as he doesn't turn out to be another O'Grady I'm happy and will trust MA.

What i like about this signing, is the contract term.....unlike SEB/COG that were on their last gravy train & meal ticket before doing one. We haven't tied this one into a long contract & stupid wages.
Good signing & possibly a key player that could provide a stepping stone to where we want to be at the end of the season.
Players like this, with knowledge & vast experience of many leagues could be perfect. (even if his goal scoring ratio isn't great! but hey you never know!)

Wonder if the "bid for the other player" is off or pending Sinnott going?
