A fair point. A fine line between banter and abuse. However, for one or two on here, the intent is clear. Sometimes I feel it resembles a playground with one or two resident bullies. Still we have a chance, with the report function, and the mods engagement, to get rid of at least the bad language. What worries me is whether there is any age controls - can kids view some of the bad stuff that gets posted on here? Just look at the bad language on this thread - a thread suggesting we clean up this Board

DWT - I hope your wrong. This thread is in direct response to the likes of Mr.M, Sabretooth ... etc that are concerned about the apparent poor standards on this board and the impact on membership/posting levels ... etc. If we all band together and report bad language, insults ... etc we may cause system meltdown, exhausted mods ... but it must surely be worth it.

I admit I'm sometimes guilty of using poor language on here, without engaging brain first, and not thinking of the young CFC fans that read this board.

Worthwhile debate though.

Me personally regarding the banning of CFC supporters, no matter what their views, is not on really. I do think you bring some of it on yourself though Rob, with repeat posts, and sometimes being what seems deliberately provocative.

Free speech and all that though, so for me......

I'm all for free exchange of views. It's the double standards, and yes bad language, of the complainants that takes the breath away
