regarding the proposal of ownership, we will be getting this in mail form at some point. Will this be sooner rather than later, given the CFC AGM on the 18th of Jan. I would have thought these proposals will be aired at that meeting. can we not try to fit in the AGM before that date, ?

You don't expect a straight answer do you? It is the CFSS you are talking about

Sorry Carl- I sometimes miss posts. It was good of Les to bring it to my attention.
If there is a proposal that represents a significant change to the structure then it will mean a postal ballot rather than just the AGM. It is possible that the two would then be run side-by-side so that the AGM will answer any questions members have before the ballot closes.
It would be preferable if this was done before the 18th.

Thanks Pete,
Didn't know whether to post it here or on the main debate site, interesting I would have thought that the ownership would repesent a significant change to the structure of CFSS, maybe I'm reading it wrong?
thanks anyway.

Well here you are again talking out of your rectum, I would love to insult you but the moderators have warned me not to on the basis that you are not bright enough to notice, they pionted out it would be a waste of my time and space on the board, anyway I was brought up never to mock the afflicted so in your case I won't.

I think Pete meant the 18th of Jan, the date of the AGM.

OK the 18th of Jan it maybe but put it in perspective, the proposals where put to the CFSS on the 15th Oct 2006, 2 days later we were told that we may get to know them in a couple of days, now we are talking 3 months and it's only a hope at that, like lightening at the CFSS are they not? Whats the odd we hear nothing prior to the AGM and are we likely to get any minutes from previous meeting prior to the AGM?

No argument from me fish. Just clarifying what I thought Pete meant by saying the 18th.
There should be no excuses now with a date set.

Want to bet? The excuses dept will already be working to come up with a credible reason for missing this date, they will keep the soppy's and H's of this world happy. Mind you they might make this date, theres always a first for everything

What? You're thinkimg of posting something positive? Now that would be a first.
Don't worry about the new ground, by the way. They're well on with cleaning up the most polluted site in Europe out at Wingerworth. Ideal spot for a football ground, as I'm sure the council are now thinking.

Have thought all along that the site at Wingerworth would make a far better location for the new ground - plenty of land and Im sure the grants from Europe and English Partnerships etc would be plentiful. I know it was orignally said that it would take about 8 years to clean the site up, but that was nearly 5 years ago now!

They're well on the way with it. I just wonder in my wilder moments if that's the reason for the delay at DEMA. Now if the council were to offer a really big inducement, would it be worth waiting yet more time, although it might only be a few months?

Hello fishi - just found this one. It'll be a black day when the moderators stop you abusing people, in fact it'll mean the end of all those dire posts of yours that give us such a laugh, 'cos you never do anything else. Looking on the bright side, though, it might mean you start presenting some arguments for a change - now that should be REALLY funny.
Good to know the moderators have stepped in to save me from a mauling by an enraged sea creature though - I never realised how close I came to being savaged by those hideous, slimy jaws.
