Apparently Putin was provoked by the EU and NATO so isn't a nutcase after all as that other thread suggests

Lots of outrage at least from the politicians but Falange is only reading from Trump's bible. Wonder if they'll be so outraged when Trump is back and he is saying it.

But that?s the whole point. He is a nutcase., he?s nothing to fear by the expansion of the EU or NATO, he used it as a means to his end argument. The invasion.

Apologism because he?s voiced his view on why Putin invaded?

If Corbyn was the Labour leader and had said it you?d be making 12 posts an hour about it bud (and rightly so).

I?m not sure I would, both Farage and GR have voiced opinions why Putin both felt emboldened to invade and his mindset into why he should invade. They?re not riding around on chargers trumpeting the invasion.
As per usual on here those who demand debate are the ones who shout loudest to stifle it!

You deffo would, you banged on about Starmer supping a Cobra for long enough, you?d have been on it like a tramp on chips if Corbyn had given some apologist borderline pro-Russia comment.

That was to highlight the hypocrisy of that v party gate.
Well that?s hindsight, I don?t think I would, although hands up the circumstantial evidence certainly backs you up, but if he had the same ones now wanting Farage to be hung would be defending Corbyn, but all hindsight mate. Anyhow I must say I admire Corbyn for his forthright refusal to be moved from his views and opinions and stand his ground by his principles as much as I disagree with him. For a start he?s well and truely got Starmer sussed, telling him to own his time in the shadow cabinet rather than bleat about it and try to rewrite it.

Mate, look; you really do have to stop and think about what you're saying.

Me or thee or anyone else on here "express opinions". The better ones back them up with facts and figures and links and quotes and evidence. Others just say stuff like 'I'll post what I want', accuse those talking of morals or credibility or honesty of being somehow pious or pepper these pages with assertions then hide behind some sanctity of the ballotbox rather than account for them.

But it dun't matter 'cos this's merely an obscure section of a lower league messageboard frequented by a couple of dozen people.

On the other hand Farage is a professional politician. He wants folks' votes. He makes a great deal of money from his role - including a highly lucrative pension from the EU he spent years seeking to leave - and would like to exert power over us.

So what he say matters.

And what he does says stinks. From his associations with racists ( https://www.mirror.c...-nigel-33032598 ), to his endorsement of despicable mysogynists ( https://www.independ...m-b2566506.html ), to his sycophancy for the convicted criminal and alleged terrorist inciting Trump ( https://www.nytimes....rges-jan-6.html ), to approving crass football chants ( https://www.lbc.co.u...german-bombers/ ), to his relationships with anti Semites and Nazi apologists ( https://www.lbc.co.u...hitler-up-on-h/ & https://inews.co.uk/...theories-288382 ).

The list goes on and on and on.

To the point he's now doubled down on his pro Putin propaganda. The grifter posing with D Day vets. The chancer always purporting an obviously perverted patriotism. The scammer who probably did more damage to this country than any other with his utterly self serving Brexit agenda.

Blaming the democratic West for the murderous atrocities of a Kremlin killer.

Your cultish and ongoing support for Boris the Liar is one thing. Your desperate hypocrisy of vilifying a succession of socially conscious and/or leftist individuals whilst defending the catalogue of moral bankruptcies of right wing characters is another.

Though surely even your fingers in ears and eyes squeezed shut admiration for them can't stretch to in any way excusing this latest disgrace...can it?

What will get done? we have an ageing population, improved medical procedures and treatments, fewer people economically active, already very hogh tax take from business and those on higher incomes, the expected spend on the NHS and pensions will balloon. And Labour will do what? devolve a bit more power to mayors, allow a few more houses to be built and create another govt body in the energy company, and growth will finance everything - well that they are talking about so far...

Growth will be better over the next 5 years - inflation is back at target today, productivity will increase as firms will need it to to pay higher interest rates which wont go back to below 1%. But I see nothing in what they are saying that will move the dial - except we will spend more on the NHS (into the black hole it goes, to what effect who knows) and somehow we will magic up new teachers and PCSOs despite doing nothing to make the jobs more attractive... but more spending means more tax so just the govt deciding where its spent rather than individuals...

So the next 5 years should be better than the last - no Covid, no shock of a war in Europe - but will it be as good as it could be and will it set us up for the5 years after....?

The labour government will find some money without resorting to PFI. They can't talk about their plans at the moment but as soon as the election is over I think you will be surprised. One thing they must do is stop the destruction of our rivers. They will tackle the 10 million pounds of Covid fraud and imprison some of the tory cronies, and MPs and Lords that made a killing

Why on earth do I have to stop and think about what I?m saying? What an opening line. Ridiculous
I?m not sure what I?ve said re Farage on this issue that?s so contentious?
Oh and if I decide to keep my vote on 4th of July between myself and the ballot box I will and if I decide to say who I voted for, and if it?s not Labour have the usual gasps and arm throwing disbelief that people could vote for anyone else, then I?ll do that as well. All accompanied with my view and option but most certainly without reasoned debate, as I?ve said before reasoned debate long since vanished on here in political discussion, you yourself cite a growing list of those with whom debate is impossible. I no longer waste my time attempting reasoned debate and I’m quite comfortable with that stance.

You really don't get it, do you.

You genuinely can't grasp the dichotomy before your very eyes.

Your blindness to anything your cult leaders do or say has become so absolute, right and wrong long since became irrelevant.

You recently told us you'd been moved by a visit to the Imperial War Museum - yeah? Telling us it confirmed to you 'everything we stand for' - right? Well putting aside the grimace invoking connotations of Empire that similarly went so far over your head, how do you think those referenced by all the 'Lest We Forget' car stickers or door number plates or flags would view a British politician embracing Nazi apologists? Supporting a Trump who embodies so much of what they fought and died to oppose? Promoting pro Putin victim blaming on an international scale?

I honestly don't have any words left if you can't understand that question...

Cult leaders? And you want debate? Brilliant. And believe me there?s very little that on here that goes over my head! I’ve got it well sussed, particularly the political threads on here. Very well sussed indeed.
Loved the War Museum, the Churchill war rooms also. I enjoy our history and visiting places that remind us of it, likewise the National Holocaust centre at Laxton, that shows we should never allow the rise of anti semitism in this country.
I get it..Farage is in your sights now, so pigeon holing all those who might vote reform is your latest crusade and I?m sure some are disgusted by Farage, likewise others may still support him, I?ve no idea. But you honestly don?t have any words left? I doubt that.

No more words? That lasted didn?t it.
Well you’ll be voting for the party that has a problem and long history with antisemitism, and endorsed antisemite Corbyn as PM, so not sure what the links prove, I’ve not looked at them btw, and it’s not going away.
Reform your well and truly your go to posting now!
Now where will I mark my X? What a quandary?
I might wait to see where JKR marks her X, she’s got Starmer sussed as well!
Starmer’s ‘abandoned women’, says Rowling, superb article in todays Mail. I won’t bother copying it because it’ll just get the usual sneer.

Labour?s problem is differentiating between not supporting Israel and their actions and anti Israel doctrine

If you have a significant Muslim membership that?s a fine tightrope you have to walk

Corbyn couldn?t or probably wouldn?t walk that tightrope and choose to lay breaths on the ground for the black September terrorist dead
