I rarely critise the club now days but after today I think the club to a degree deserve it. Firstly why were season tickets holders originally only given 1 day to get their fa cup tickets? Why was there not a separate queue for port vale tickets? Why was the telephone system virtually unusable? Why couldn't tickets for your seat be purchased on line? I didn't like the idea of having your credit card details written down on a piece of paper for later use. I however will not criticise the girls on the Windows. They did a sterling job. The one that I dealt was obviously stressed and tired but was friendly and pleasant. Why were the girls not given chairs instead of having to stand for hours. So in short the report from me is the club could and should do better and the staff top marks

Surely its the paranoia of season ticket holders who cling on to their seats as though its their worldly possesions that cause the chaos.

Perhaps they like their seat and view?
Perhaps they want to sit in the same seat with their mates?
Perhaps they like the people of tgat sit around them?
Perhaps the lack of info from the club aided the problem? We had to rely on Marcia to give us the detail
Perhaps the Thursday deadline wasn't realistic in the first place?

The club have bragged about its modern electronic system only thing is it fails time after time isn't the saltergate window at the Proact somewhere. A lot of people work and can't get to the club the least you would expect is to get through on the phone Going online isnt always easy to achieve my boss doesn't understand football.
Can't salute yer can't find a flag if that don't suit yer that's a drag

What a ridicules comment, sometimes you really come across as intolerant buffoon

I'm happy to sit in any decent seat, but perhaps some season ticket holders might want to sit with family or friends

To be honest if the IT system was up to it, I guess the queues would be significantly reduced

They'll probably allow each season ticket holder to buy 5 tickets each

Well now, for all those complaining about CFC, you should have been where I was this evening. In Madeira on holiday and went with friends who are Maratimo season ticket holders to Portugueses Cup quarter final against Island rivals National. Absolute chaos. Ground half complete, turnstiles not working, only one narrow slit window in big blank wall acting as ticket office. Fans milling around in abject confusion. Ticket office guy yelling FULL (I think). I packed it in and retired to a bar. Guess what ? The game is on TV and the half complete ground is half full. It makes CFC 's arrangements look like planning for a Royal Wedding!

As mentioned previously on another thread. I phoned up for three tickets and gave my card details to the lady but didn't realise until I had hung up that this is what she had done and like a fool I do not know how much I will be charged as 1. like a plank I never asked the price 2. she never told me how much it was, & 3. She didn't say the transaction was successful or anything.

At present, my Card has not been uploaded with the game and my Bank account has not been debited.

We as season ticket holders pay in advance for the privilege to secure our seats for cup games .Not a long enough time slot to secure them I was at work all day today I work in a foundry and haven't got the privlage to use my phone its against the rules .Managed to get to the proact at 4.30 the que was massive .Will get chance to get down tomorrow 12.30 to see what pickings are left .Yes the cheap tickets have made it very attractive and because of our admin error and the punishment from the FA its made it a mess to organise it should have been yesterday and today for season tickets and Sunday and Monday general sale and season ticket holders should only be allowed to get one ticket .Who evers got my seats very cheap enjoy the view to .

You pay in advance to secure a chosen seat for LEAGUE Games and to ensure you see each game at a reduced price............that being said, I do think it's shabby treatment of ST holders by the Club.

Not the original announcement though Trev, which maybe was the cause of the chaos.

Can you not do it online spireite-lad or is that option still playing up for ST holders?
