Stop with all the supercilious comments I am aware of your comments, as I'm aware you're a "big boy". "Obviously " wreaks of arrogance.

Bit rich to be talking of obsessions…

You accuse people of sniping yet do just the same. Accept we have different opinions. I believe opinions are valid if thought through and not spurious nonsense meant to antagonise. Typically yours are thought through but you look down on others who disagree. A key message of conversion is to accept others. IMO you don't do that.

The geezers a total narcissist, he wouldn’t even need a psychiatric appointment to determine that fact, all they’d have to do is check his Bobs Board post history to verify that disorder yet he accuses others of being mentally ill if they disagree with his own view points and becomes angry and agitated. You can always tell when he’s triggered because he uses his infamous phrases and buzzwords.. Fortunately he doesn’t represent any proper town fans who I know because all of them can accept differences of opinions apart from him.
Let me in!

I'll add the context of which you're so obviously unaware.

Ian repeatedly stated Corbyn's Labour were too Left to vote for. Okay, fair enough. However when I've subsequently met his 'twists and snipes' on such as the 'End of Labour' thread - which he of course began - by pointing out how centrist Starmer's party's become, he insists the threat of some lefty takeover still dissuades him. Even though he has little or no evidence of that possiblity.

Not forgetting his long term union prejudices, either. Aired almost as often as his pension obsessions.

So thanks for your kind words and concerns. But he and I are big boys who've been doing this kinda stuff for years with no obvious ill effects.

I understand Owen Jones has moved into a building occupied by Momentum. If you think Labour could not lurch left at some point over a seminal issue when in power then you probably believe there are no factions in the Tories and they all sing from the same hymn sheet too.

Thought not. Yet there are people who are Labour supporters historically who are saying they are too centrist. Including on here. I imagine some people in the local party too, as I am sure you know but wont admit. Lets see what happens when times are tough, SKS doesnt have a positive rating, and Labour are looking to improve their position - it will happen, that is what happens when in power. I wonder whether they will go further right or head left...?

No prejudices just concerns. I'm looking at risks as to what might happen. Thought you might be interested in pension unfairness, being a socialist and all that, or is it Animal Farm here, all equal but some are more equal than others - so unfairness is fine if it benefits the ones you want?

Train driver paying higher rate tax, fab pension. Care worker on minimum wage, much worse but paying taxes to pay for the train drivers. Socialism at its best it seems.... Thanks for reminding me, you support that split.

whereas you see I like Chris, he has a passion and he makes his case based on facts and articles. What triggers me is when people make stuff up as they have a theory and they shoehorn stuff that happens in to somehow, however mad, suit that theory.

I'll take Chris' passion and arguments any day. And I'd say he is closer to most town fans than many on here (myself included!)

You wagged a finger.

I responded in a similar vein, though with tongue relatively in cheek.

Hoped you'd got that by now, but, well, apparently not.

Either way I'm too long in the tooth to change my posting style, be it supercilious or arrogant or obsessive.

Besides, let him without sin and all that.

With you and Ian and other adult contributors it's just jousting. Friendly jousting. That's what I accept, so let's get back to it...

Thanks, Ian.

And there's a grimace inducing irony to a troll who's wriggled and squirmed and lied his way out of countless invitations to prove his credentials talking of being 'close to Town fans'.

Tragic, truly tragic.

Ten thousand of us will be there today whilst masses more will be celebrating in absence. Suggest we leave this pathetic loser - who we can guarantee won't be one of them - to his own warped little world and focus on that instead.

Then we can get back to discussing why you hate Labour so much...

I dont hate Labour, to be fair I dont hate very much at all, its a very strong word, the other side of love, so sometimes I dislike things.

But for me the biggest asset any organisation has is trust. Takes ages to build and a second to remove. And my concern is, do I trust them. And the hoenest answer is, because of where their income comes from, because of the continuing existence of groups like momentum and people like Jones who want them to go more left, I am not sure I do.

I certainly dont trust the Tories. Not sure I trust any of them to be fair.

Mate - it was another of my tongue-in-cheek punchlines.

As said to our friend 'S42', I thought you'd have got that by now.

Either way happy promotion day...

Its a bit early for me to be disecting the tone in written words, after my midnight jaunt through the countryside around the M25 (barnet and borehamwood, funnily enough!)

I'm going to pretend the match isnt happening and focus on other stuff as so far they have been winning when I tuned in and losing be the time I tuned out!

Who does like been called thick. Its a bit of a ignorant term to use and in this case its simply been used by a bitter pro labour supporter

Thought after all the stuff about the Tory donor, you'd have something to say about the Welsh First Minister getting sponsorship from a chap who has been found guilty of environmental crimes...?

Actually no I didnt. Apparently SKS says he shouldnt give the money back.... bit weird really?

Twenty ten - highest ever approval NHS ratings.

Twenty twenty four - lowest ever NHS approval ratings.

What could've possibly happened in between...

A pandemic, leaving the NHS playing catch up, a population that is struggling with health issues caused by said pandemic, and over cautious folk turning up at A&E for the slightest little thing pushing waiting times to the extreme.. ??
