Sign Phil Picken, surely in all the peoples eyes who doubted the club this is a step back!

Well whoever said we wouldnt sign him we would be beaten by a bigger club, get some humble pie down you! ;)

Great move by the club David, and one right in the eye for the regular knockers; I reckon there will be a few of our posters tucking in to the pie before the start of next season, AND, more importantly, at the end of next season.

Great signing. The best out of some good young players we have had on loan in my opinion when you bear in mind how versatile he is and equally good with both feet.

What pie would that be,does your missus put in some kind of extra ingredient,i was always hoping he would sign for us but there was always that chance someone else would step in,i've watched Picken very closely while he has been here, being from United, and he showed true determination and he was always first to congratulate any goalscorer,i don't think unlike you that we beat a host of clubs to his signature if he ultimately signs, for the simple reason i don't think there was anybody else, this is just my opinion of course,he might have wanted the security we could offer for now and the chance he might get noticed in the future, and i am glad he has chosen us,no humble pie for me.

Him at left back and, providing he is fully fit, Bailey at right back. Bailey is the best full back at the club when fit and has to play!!!

I have also said there was every chance someone could come in for Picken,he has done exceptionally well, thanks to Roy and Rico and Manchester United giving him that opportunity and i still stand by that no one else came in for him, hence his reason he signed for us :excl:

Please, please don`t start being sarcastic over grammatical errors when typing quickly, it just proves you`ve lost the point. For example "i" instead of "I", it just lowers the thread.
