Nothing against the centre back pairing of Thompson and Trottman but would it be worth brining him in for the game saturday? I like Fordy and think he is a steady head at times for us, also think his reading of the game is excellent and fitness prevailing think i'd go for him to start saturday, i know his big task really this season is to play in the wembley final but to this end we've got to keep him ticking over, big game saturday and i think his experience could be very useful. Also isn't he ex-Charlton? players often step it up against former clubs

He worrys me seems to get turned far to easily seems off the pace but when on form he is steady Thompson as made a couple of costly mistakes too,

I'm sorry, when Ford first came in he was excellent, a defender who could tackle, could head, could pass etc etc but nowadays he is a complete liability. Ever since his mistake on tv last year against wednesday, to me he has become a shadow of the player he was. I worry every time he gets the ball, whether he will do something simple or try to be clever. Apologies, but Ford shouldnt be getting near our starting line up, in my opinion

Ford worries me a little when in possession as he often tries to play it out of defence when there's too much pressure to do so, but other than that he is normally quite decent in my eyes.

Trotman and Thompson were very good against Carlisle for what it's worth.

GOOD!
Hopefully Sheridan won't bring Ford back in (sorry, I did try but I just couldn't help myself  )

Not for me - our best CB when fully fit. Look after him and use him sparingly.
